Bulldog Golf Finishes Strong Season

Your Sabis boys Golf team took on Frontier yesterday in their final match of the season. Your boys came up short and lost to Frontier with a score of 18-6.

James Garvey had the low score for Sabis with a score of 45 and Freshman Micheal Bushey posted the only win for Sabis winning his match in a dominant fashion with a score of 3-1

For their first season in 5 years your boys golf team has a lot to look forward to in years to come. Senior Colby Manning had a solid year and he performed well individually during the season. Also Seniors Gus Pessolano , Ryan Thomas and James Garvey played pretty well also. If all the seniors would have got the chance to play a couple of more years in the program, they would have had the potential to be a very dangerous crew.

Sophomore Kolby Smith has a lot of promise looking forward. Smith had standout season and was arguably the golf team’s most consistent and best performer. He came very close to beating multiple golfers who were Western Mass top performers and had the lowest score for Sabis multiple times. Smith is going to have a chance to be one of the best golfers in Western Mass in a couple of years if he stays focused and continues to progress.

Your Sabis boys golf team also has a few other underclassmen like Micheal Bushey who will flourish in the next couple of years. There is no doubt that the golf team will carry the same tradition of winning that all of our other Sabis sports represent.
