Your girls varsity soccer team tries to qualify for the MIAA tournament today needing a win at Southwick.  Tomorrow it’s the PVIAC cross country championship meet for both our boys and girls teams.  Let’s be sure to get out there and cheer the Bulldogs on!

Attention all boys planning to play basketball this winter.  Study Hall will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 3 – 5 pm under the direction of Coach John Williams.  If you plan on trying out for the team and you’d like an opportunity to spend some extra time on your school work, please plan to attend study hall.

Strength and conditioning workouts will now be held every Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7 pm for both the boys and the girls.  Everyone is welcome.  If interested, just show up!

Pre-season conditioning sessions will be held for anyone interested in cheerleading on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 PM.  These sessions will begin on Tuesday, November 10th.  You may not remain after school to attend these sessions.  You must leave the building and return for 6 pm.  If interested – just show up.

The fall season athletic award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 24th.

Your boys varsity soccer team lost a 4-0 game to Athol yesterday on senior day.  Korey Colglazier was honored after the contest.  Your jv team lost by a 3-1 score.  The varsity volleyball team finished their regular season on an upswing with a sweep at Easthampton.  The jv girls lost 2-1 with strong play from Aysha Miller, Lauren Hunter, Julissa Arce and Gabby Favreau.

An’janae Washington established a new Forest Park school record yesterday as she took first place overall to lead the girls cross country team to a league win over Sci-Tech.  The win was Washington’s 7th of the season and placed the girls in a first place tie in their league standings.  Eliza Mullin, Briana Alvarado, Tianna Scott and Isabella Hookailo finished in the top ten on the afternoon.  The boys lost two closely contested contests yesterday as Nick Audette finished 3rd overall and first for your Bulldogs.  Your girls varsity soccer team lost to Chicopee last night by a 3-0 score.  They will need to win their game at Southwick on Friday to earn an MIAA tournament bid.

Today your volleyball teams close out their regular season as they travel to Easthampton and if the rain holds off both boys soccer teams will conclude their seasons with games here at 4:00 PM against Athol.  Let’s be sure to get out there and cheer the Bulldogs on!

Premiere Long scored once again, but the boys varsity soccer team lost to Lenox by a 5-1 margin.  The jv, despite two goals by Evan Hill, lost 5-2.  The girls varsity volleyball team gave Belchertown everything they could handle, but lost a 3-1 contest.  Suwayna Rowe, Selena Zayas, Markina Ako-Brew and Jayla Latham were strong throughout.  The jv volleyball team dropped an exciting 2-1 match despite the solid play of Madison Woodard, Brionne Burnett and Brianna Weinberg.

Today your cross country teams are at Forest Park and the girls travel to Chicopee as they try to qualify for the MIAA tournament.  Let’s be sure to get out there and cheer the Bulldogs on!

Your girls varsity soccer team kept their tournament hopes alive with a 1-1 draw ion Friday against Hampshire Regional.  Avalon Mateo scored from a Kayla Lizzari pass to give the girls the equalizing goal early in the second half.  Sara Brown was solid in the goal and Tiffany Alban and Taleah Hayes were solid all around.

Today is the Dig Pink game as well as senior day for the girls volleyball team and the boys soccer teams will entertain Lenox.  Make it a point to get out to some late season games and cheer your athletes on to a victory.

Congratulations to your girls varsity volleyball team on their 3-0 win over Dean Tech yesterday.  The win earns the girls a trip to the MIAA post season tournament which will be held the first week of November.  Julia Guilbert, Mykaela DeBrito, Brionne Burnett and Kassandra Diaz played well for the girls.  Premere Long scored your Bulldogs only goal as the boys varsity soccer team fell to Frontier on the road last night.  The jv guys lost despite some strong goal keeping by Christopher Harris.

Today is senior day for the girls soccer team as both the jv and varsity will entertain Hampshire Regional.  Monday is the Dig Pink game as well as senior day for the girls volleyball team and the boys soccer teams will entertain Lenox in their own senior day.  Make it a point to get out to some late season games and cheer your athletes on to a victory.

Your girls varsity volleyball team moved to within one win of qualifying for the MIAA post season tournament with their sweep over Southbridge yesterday.  The girls were led by Kassandra Diaz, Suwayna Rowe, Hannah Brooks and Remani Lizana.  The jv girls took a 2-1 win in the preliminary game thanks to the strong play by Aurora Garcia and Niyah Miller.  Your boys varsity soccer team dropped an exciting 4-3 game on the road to St. Joseph’s High School last night.  James Gonzalez recorded two goals and Premere Long had the other as the guys fell a bit short of victory.  Your girls varsity soccer team lost a 5-0 contest to Monson.  Both the girls and boys cross country teams defeated Chicopee yesterday.  An’janae Washington won her 7th race of the season with a new Chicopee State Park course record, while Tanialyz Alemnas, Brianna Alvarado and Eliza Mulin also placed for the win.   Amadi Pendleton, Nick Audette, Dylan Hibbert and Nate Colon placed in the top 10 finishers for the guys

Your boys varsity soccer team dropped their league contest to Easthampton yesterday.  Shayn Audet had 26 saves in goal.

Today we have the boys varsity soccer team travelling to St. Joseph High in Pittsfield, both girls soccer teams over at Monson, both girls volleyball teams travelling to Southbridge and both cross country teams over to Chicopee State Park.  Tomorrow we have no games scheduled.

Sasha Santos scored your girls only goal as the varsity soccer team dropped a 4-1 contest to Sutton High School.  The jv girls lost 3-0 despite some solid goalkeeping by Bailey Barlow and Alivia Rivera.  Your boys varsity soccer team fell 5-1 over at Hopkins Academy.  Kory Colglazier had your guys’ only score.  The jv guys dropped a 4-1 contest with Justin Pierce scoring the goal from a Jeremy Townsend assist.

Today we have the girls volleyball teams here against Chicopee High in games beginning at 4:00 PM.

Your boys varsity soccer team earned a one-sided win over Public Safety Academy yesterday thanks to 3 goals by Shayn Audet and Medhi Akram.  Dariel Santana recorded the shutout in the nets.  Your jv boys lost by a 6-1 score.  Anthony Britt had the lone score for the guys.  The varsity volleyball team lost a 3-1 heartbreaker to South Hadley yesterday.  Selena Zayas, Markina Ako-Brew and Jayla Latham were solid in the loss.  The jv lost in the preliminary by a 2-1 score.  An’janae Washington won her fifth race of the season as your girls cross country team defeated Pioneer Valley Regional and Hopkins Academy.  Washington established a new Sabis record for the Pioneer course.  Tanialyz Almenas and Brianna Alvarado finished second and third overall in the race.

Congratulations to your girls varsity soccer team on their come from behind 2-1 win over Palmer yesterday.  Tiffany Alban and Avalon Mateo combined on both second half goals to give the girls the league win and keep their tournament hopes alive.  Sara Brown, Alexia Williams, Fanchesca Diaz and Alizaya Clark provided the defensive work to shut down the Palmer attack in the second half.  Takeeyla Jackson scored the lone goal for the jv girls who lost 4-1.  Your golf team ended their season with a loss to Mahar yesterday.  Michael Bushey recorded the top score for the Bulldogs, while Bushey, Otto Pellegrino, Austin Lucas, Colin Fairman and Chris Fay recorded points in the loss.  Your girls varsity volleyball team lost a close match to Agawam yesterday.  Jayla Latham, Suwayna Rowe and Markina Ako-Brew paced the girls.  The jv volleyball team dropped a 2-1 match in the preliminary despite solid play by Aurora Garcia and Angie Gonzalez.

Today we have the boys soccer teams and both volleyball teams here beginning at 4:00 PM.  We also have the cross country teams on the road at Pioneer Valley Regional school.

Information meetings for winter sports will be held during Student Life periods today.  Please look on the monitors in the atrium and the main lobby to see which room your informational meeting will be in.   If you are a student in grade 7 – 12 and would like to try out for basketball, wrestling or cheerleading, then be sure to attend one of those meetings and learn more about your sport and how to make a team.
