Daily Update

Your varsity volleyball team made it two in a row and the girls inched closer to their MIAA tournament invitation with a sweep of Easthampton yesterday.  Danielle Wilson and Suwayna Rowe led the girls to the convincing league win.  The jv girls took the preliminary match by a   2-1 score.  Niyah Miller, Aysha Miller, Gabby Favreau and Aurora Garcia paced the girls in their win.  Your boys varsity soccer team fell to Hampshire by a 4-0 score and the golf team earned a 1 point win over Pathfinder.    Chris Fay, Otto Pellegrino and Michael Green provided the big individual wins to pace the team.

Today we have the girls soccer teams here against Central High beginning at 4:00 PM.

Information meetings for winter sports will be held during Student Life periods next Wednesday, October 14th.  If you are a student in grade 7 – 12 and would like to try out for basketball, wrestling or cheerleading, then be sure to attend one of those meetings and learn more about your sport and how to make a team.

Strength and conditioning workouts will now be held every Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7 pm for both the boys and the girls.  Everyone is welcome.  If interested, just show up!  Since there is no school next Monday, the next session will be held on Wednesday, October 14th.

Daily Update

Congratulations to your boys varsity soccer team on their 3 – 1 win over Hampden Charter School for Science.  Koreyl Colglazier had two goals and Shayn Audet added a goal and 2 assists in the win.  Your girls varsity soccer team earned a 3-0 win over Mahar yesterday.  Chinaly Chanvong had two goals and Sasha Santos added the 3rd, while Sara Brown recorded the shutout in the nets.  Your jv girls fought to a 2-2 tie with Tatiana Skarzynski and Kayla Lazzari getting a goal apiece.  The varsity volleyball team stopped their slide with a sweep over Holyoke High yesterday.  Jayla Latham and Suwayna Rowe paced the girls who need just three wins to qualify for the MIAA post season tournament.  The jv girls also earned the win yesterday with Aysha Miller having a solid all-around afternoon.

Today we have the volleyball teams here at home, the boys soccer teams travelling to Hampshire Regional for games at 4:00 and 6:00 PM and the golf team travelling to Pathfinder Regional.

Daily Update

Congratulations to your girls varsity soccer team on their 1-0 win over Holyoke Catholic yesterday.  Avalon Mateo scored the game’s only goal and Sara Brown recorded the shutout in the nets.  Your girls jv team took a 4-0 win with goals by Takeela Johnson, Sydney Borders, Taleah Hayes and Aniyah Forbes.  Both the boys and girls cross country teams lost to Belchertown yesterday.  An’janae Washington won her fifth race of the season as she set a new Sabis course record on the 2.8 mile course at Foley field.  Tanialyz Almenas finished second for Sabis and 8th overall.  Amadi Pendleton was 11th overall and first for our guys.    Your golf team lost to Smith Academy Michael Bushey once again recorded the low score for the Bulldogs.

Today we have girls soccer at home against Mahar Regional and the boys varsity soccer team at Hampden Charter School and both volleyball teams at Holyoke high.  Tomorrow it’s the volleyball teams here at home and the boys soccer teams and the golf team on the road.

Daily Update

Yesterday was a tough day for Bulldog athletics as the boys varsity and jv soccer teams each lost  contests to Monson.  Jeremy Townsend and Christopher Harris scored goals, but the jv guys lost by a 4-2 score.  Shayne Audet had 20 saves in the varsity’s 4-0 loss.  The girls varsity volleyball team fell to Belchertown in straight sets despite some solid net play by Jayla Latham, Remani Lizana and Danielle Wilson. The golf team lost a close match to Ware as Michael Bushey, Austin Benoit and Chris Fay each recorded sub 50 cards on the afternoon.

Today we have the golf team travelling to Smith Academy, the girls soccer teams over at Forest Park for a match against Holyoke Catholic and both cross country teams getting over to Belchertown for a multi-school event.   Tomorrow we have girls soccer at home and the boys varsity soccer team and both volleyball teams on the road.

Sasha Santos scored the team’s only goal as they girls varsity soccer team lost to Amherst on Friday by a score of 2-1.

Today we have the boys soccer teams here against Monson High with games beginning at 4:00 PM and the golf and girls volleyball teams on the road.  Tomorrow we have golf, girls soccer and both cross country teams on the road and Wednesday we have girls soccer at home and the boys varsity soccer team and both volleyball teams on the road.

Daily Update

Your varsity golf team dropped a heartbreaker yesterday to Granby High by a score of 12.5 to 11.5.  Michael Bushey carded the low overall round of the afternoon for the Bulldogs, while Chris Fay had a career best round.  All other events were postponed by the wet weather.

Today the cross country teams will entertain Comp over at Forest Park and the boys soccer teams will host Southwick here at 4:00 PM.  The girls volleyball teams will travel to Chicopee.  Tomorrow we round out the week with the girls soccer teams entertaining Amherst at 4:00 PM.
