Tyler Griffin, Nathan Colon and Justin Rennis provided the offensive punch and Rennis and Griffin were huge on the board as your boys varsity basketball team earned a trip to the MIAA tournament with an 18 point win over Longmeadow last night.  The jv guys lost in the preliminary game.  Your freshmen bested Longmeadow on the road in an afternoon contest.  Tyriek Marsh and James Gonzalez lead the way.  Today the wrestling team travels to Franklin Tech and tomorrow your girls jv and varsity teams are right back here.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Remani Lizana led the scoring for your girls varsity basketball team, but the girls lost to Belchertown on the road last night.  The jv girls lost the preliminary game.  Tonight the boys varsity tries to earn their MIAA tournament ticket as they host Longmeadow here.  The jv game tips at 5:30 pm.  Tomorrow the wrestling team travels to Franklin Tech and on Thursday your girls jv and varsity teams are right back here.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Tyler Griffin had 13 points and 8 rebounds and your boys’ varsity basketball team improved to 9-2 on the season with a one-sided win over Ludlow on Friday.  Justin Rennis had a double double and Nathan Colon added 10 points in the win.  Your jv guys also downed Ludlow and Aaron Williams had 22 points on the night.  The boys’ freshmen lost to Baystate Charter School on Friday afternoon.  James Gonzalez had 11 points to lead the guys.  Both the girls jv and varsity basketball teams lost to Barnstable High on Friday. Also on Friday, the Varsity Bowling Club won 20-16 with Shayne Audet rolling his high game of 194.  The Boys JV Teams won 28-8 with Michael Bushey rolling his high game of 191 and Jacob Ouellette tying his high game of 122.  Today your girls jv and varsity teams travel to Belchertown and tomorrow the boys varsity tries to earn their MIAA tournament invitation as they host Longmeadow here.  The jv game tips at 5:30 pm.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Paris Lizana and An’janae Washington had 10 points apiece, but the girls varsity basketball team fell to West Springfield last night by a 50-47 score.  Avalon Mateo had 16 rebounds in the loss.  The jv girls team lost to West Side in the preliminary game.  Samantha Townsend was solid for the Lady Bulldogs.  Today both the boys and girls basketball teams on the road and the bowling club will be at Shaker Bowl.  The wrestling team will travel to Mount Everett for a multi-school event tomorrow.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Christian Rivas, Christian Garcia- Nieves, Khadir Zachary, Jalen Rogers, Khalif Sharif and Ryan Carvalho each recorded pins last night, and your varsity wrestling team earned a draw with Granby in a league match.   Today the girls basketball teams are here entertaining West Side.  The jv game will tip at 5:30 PM and we round out the week with both the boys and girls basketball teams on the road tomorrow.  The Bowling Club will be at Shaker Bowl tomorrow for their matches.  The wrestling team will travel to Mount Everett for a multi-school event on Saturday.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Your boys varsity basketball team moved closer to earning an invitation to the MIAA post season tournament with a one-sided win over Belchertown last night. Jahleel Gabriel had 16 points and 18 rebounds in the win. Nathan Colon, Kuwan Jackson and Justin Rennis each hit for double figures as well. Aaron Williams had 29 points and 14 boards as the JV boys earned a 70-36 win in the preliminary game. Finally, it was your boys freshmen team recording a win on the road at Somers yesterday afternoon. Jason Daniels led the way with 14 points, while Donte Bolden chipped in with 12. Today we have the wrestling team here and tomorrow the girls basketball teams are here entertaining West Side. The jv game will tip at 5:30 PM. Your boys freshmen basketball team gave Central all they could handle, but they fell in the final period yesterday and lost by a 74 – 60 score.  Souley Diaby and James Gonzalez led the way with 13 pints apiece for the Bulldogs who led most of the game.  Jaeden Herd added 11 points in the loss.  Your girls freshmen team lost the preliminary game.  Today it’s the boys jv and varsity basketball teams here against Belchertown with the jv tip at 5:30 PM.  Tomorrow we have the wrestling team here and on Thursday the girls basketball teams are here entertaining West Side.  We round out the week with both the boys and girls basketball teams on the road on Friday.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Congratulations to your boys varsity basketball team on their 62 – 60 win over Pope Francis yesterday at the Hoophall Classic.  Nathan Colon led all scorers with 19 points, but it was Jaren Suttles’ late floater in the lane that gave the guys the 2 point win.  Justin Rennis had another double double for the guys and Tyler Griffin had 9 points and 11 boards to help out with the victory.   Today we continue over at Springfield College and the Hoophall basketball classic as the girls will host Granby high beginning at 4:00 PM.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Tomorrow your wrestling team will travel to Norton for a multi-school event and on Monday, both freshmen basketball teams will be here beginning at 11:00 AM.  Things get back to normal on Tuesday as the boys jv and varsity teams will entertain Belchertown and then the wrestlers and the girls the basketball teams are home on Wednesday and Thursday.

Kolby Smith and Xavier Hines-Coombs recroded wins, but it wasn’t enough as your varsity wrestling team lost a league match to Dean Tech last night by a score of 42 – 30.  Wins were also recorded by Amadi Pendleton, Christian Garcia-Nieves, Jalen Rogers and Ryan Carvalho.  Today we get started over at Springfield College and the annual Hoophall basketball classic.  The boys play today at 4:00 PM and the girls have the same time tomorrow.  Tickets at the door are $10.  You can purchase discounted tickets today from Mr. Campagna for just $6.  Don’t be shut out.  We only have a very few number of tickets left.  We will sell out and once we are out of tickets you will have to pay $10 at the door.

Nathan Colon went off for 21 points as your boys varsity basketball team improved to 6 and 2 on the season with a 67-48 win on the road at South Hadley.  Justin Rennis had 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Tyler Griffin had 10 points as well in the win.  Aaron Williams had a double double in the jv game as the guys took a 52-47 win in the preliminary game.  Today the wrestlers get it going at Dean Tech beginning at 7:00 PM.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!
