Daily Announcement

Congratulations to your boys varsity basketball team on their 64 – 55 win over Narragansett High School on Saturday.  The win earned the guys the Western Mass Championship.  The guys got off to a slow start and trailed at the half.  But a composed second half of play saw the Bulldogs build a solid lead and cruise to the nine point win.  Aaron Williams had 22 points to pace the offensive efforts, while Tre Hodge and Souleymane Diaby each had 13 points and some big baskets.  Ja’Quan Johnson, Jamal Jackson and Kisean Johnson also contributed on both ends of the court.  In fact, JJ helped provide some energy and court vision as the guys picked up the pace of the game and their torrid defensive efforts were game changing.
With the Western Mass championship banner in hand, it’s off to the state semi-final game which will be played at Worcester State University on Wednesday at 5:30 PM.  Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students.  We will run a staff and Sabis student fan bus if we get a minimum of fifteen students registered with permission slips by the end of the day on Tuesday.  We will NOT take any signups for the bus on Wednesday and we will not reserve a spot for anyone without a signed permission slip.  The bus will leave at 3:15 PM.  Please be advised that bags, backpacks and selfie sticks will not be allowed into the gymnasium.  Any questions please see Mr. Campagna.
Tryouts for all spring sports begin next Monday.  Be sure to register online if you plan to attend.
