Tatiana Skarzynski and Avalon Mateo scored the goals and Sarah Ledoux had an assist as the girls’ varsity soccer team earned their 5th win of the season with a 2 – 0 score over Pope Francis High School.  Kayla Brown had the shutout in the nets as your girls move closer to earning the MIAA tournament invitation.  The jv girls took home a 3 – 1 win with solid performances by Bailey Barlow, Elizabeth Guyette, Riley Sanderson, Jaslyn Pham and Danae Holmes.  Today it’s a full slate of contests as the golf team will entertain Ware High School, the cross country teams travel to Belchertown, the girls volleyball teams get out to Lenox and the boys soccer teams travel to Southwick High.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to your girls’ junior varsity soccer team on their 2 – 0 win over Amherst on Friday.  Amani smith and Anjianni Blackman scored the goals, while Bailey Barlow had the shutout in the nets.  Cabielyn Gagnon, Amanda Odom, Grace Wells and a number of others were solid in the win.  Your girls varsity soccer team dropped a 1 – 0 contest to Amherst on Friday as well.  Your girls varsity volleyball team inched closer to earning a tournament invitation with their 3 – 0 win over Duggan Academy.  Today we have the girls’ soccer teams entertaining Pope Francis here beginning at 4 pm.  Tomorrow it’s a full slate of contests as the golf team will entertain Ware High School, the cross country teams travel to Belchertown, the girls soccer teams get out to Lenox and the boys travel to Southwick High.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Premere Long had two goals and Nathan Reed added the third as your boys varsity soccer team beat South Hadley by a score of 3 – 1 yesterday.  Jovan Wallace, James, Gonzalez, and Gabe Perez anchored the defensive effort, while Steven McKenzie and Sylvain Audet were solid all around.  The jv boys soccer team kept their undefeated season alive as they earned a 3 – 0 win over South Hadley.  Alex Williams, Josh Dunkelly and Elijah Nixon scored and Tre Hodge and Justin Pierce played well in the win.  Avalon Mateo scored all four goals as your girls varsity soccer team beat Lee High School by a 4 – 0 score.  Kayla Brown and Cheyenne Daniels combined for the shutout in the nets.  The jv girls took a 2 – 1 win thanks to goals by Ajianni Blackman and Ta’keeyla Jackson.  Riley Sanderson, Lela Ficarra and Amanda Odom were solid all around.  Your girls varsity volleyball team took a close 3 – 2 win over Easthampton yesterday, while the jv, paced by Lauren Hunter and Jaida Bednaz took a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary.  The golf team dropped their match to Granby.  Your girls cross country team suffered their first loss of the season against Chicopee Comp, but An’janae Washington and Tanialyz Almenas finished first and second overall in the race.  It was the 5th straight race win for An’janae!  Eliza Mullin and Sara Miranda also took home top 10 honors.  Finally the boys cross country team dropped their race to Comp.  Nick Audette and Nathan Colon finished first and second for the Bulldogs.  Today it’s the varsity volleyball team taking on Duggan Academy at 5:00 PM in the back gym and the girls soccer teams travelling to Amherst High School.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Your girls’ varsity volleyball team improved to 6 wins and just 4 losses with their 3 – 1 win over Holyoke High yesterday.  Julia Guilbert, Hannah Brooks, Mykaela DeBrito and Markina Ako-Brew led the charge for the Lady Bulldogs.  The jv girls lost in the preliminary match.  Your boiys varsity soccer team improved their record to 3 wins and 5 losses on the season with their one-sided win over St. Joseph high School from Pittsfield.  Medhi Akram had two goals for the guys, while Sylvain Audet had a goal and two assists in the win.  The jv guys kept their undefeated season alive with a 5 – 3 win over Putnam.  Goals were scored by Elijah Nixon, Brandon Rusinque, Alan Williams, Tre Hodge and Chris Fagan.  Today the boys soccer teams travel to South Hadley, the girls soccer teams entertain Lee High School, the cross country teams are at Forest Park, the volleyball teams get over to Easthampton and the golf team travels to Granby.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Your boys varsity soccer team had some excellent defensive periods of play yesterday, but they fell to Palmer by a 4 – 0 score.  The jv boys soccer kept their undefeated season alive with a 5 – 2 win over Palmer.  Christopher Harris had two goals and Tre Hodge, Elijah Nixon and Alan Williams scored a goal apiece in the win.  Your girls varsity volleyball team lost a tough league match to Belchertown yesterday by a score of 3 – 1.  Mykaela DeBrito had 18 assists to pace the girls.  Your varsity golf team also took a loss yesterday as they fell to Mahar Regional.  Michael Bushey won at the number one spot and Colin Fairman held down the win at the number four.  Others scoring points for your Bulldogs included Austin Benoit and Jaelyn DeBoise.  Today it’s your girls’ soccer teams getting up to Holyoke for games at 5 and 7 pm and the golf team entertaining Hopkins Academy at Veterans early this afternoon.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Your varsity golf team dropped a close match to Pathfinder yesterday by a score of 13 – 11.  Michael Green swept his match and Michael Bushey shot the low round of the day for the Bulldogs.  Today we have your girls volleyball teams hosting Mohawk Trail Regional High School in the primary school gym.  The match gets going at 5:00 PM.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Takeeyla Jackson scored the only goal in the game as your girls’ varsity soccer team scored a 1 – 0 win over Palmer yesterday.  The JV girls lost a 4-1 game to Palmer as Anjianni Blackman recorded the only score for the Bulldogs.  Sam Odom, Kaleigh Harris, Kayleigh Elmasian, Sydney Borders and Jaslyn Pham performed well in the loss.  Your boys varsity soccer team recorded a 7-2 win over Murdock High. Premiere Long and Sylvain Audet had two goals apiece and Jovan Wallace had a goal and two assists in the win.  Your girls cross country team kept their undefeated season alive with a win over Central yesterday. The girls took six of the top ten race spots as An’janae Washington, Tanialyz Almenas, Brianna Alvarado, Eliza Mullin, Sara Miranda and Nadia Nowicki paced the girls to the win.  Your boys cross country team lost to Central.  Finally the golf team dropped their contest at Smith Academy.  Michael Bushey and Austin Benoit recorded low scores for the afternoon and Colin Fairman took a 3 – 1 win over his opponent.  Today we have the boys’ soccer teams here against Athol at 4 pm and the girls’ volleyball teams entertaining Simsbury, CT with the jv match beginning at 5.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Mykaela DeBrito had 23 assists and Markina Ako-Brew had 34 digs, but the varsity volleyball team lost a five set heartbreaker to South Hadley yesterday in the league opener for both teams.  The loss drops the girls’ season record to 3 wins and 2 losses.  The jv team was swept in the preliminary match.  Today we have the girls soccer teams here at home against Palmer High, the boys varsity soccer team travelling to Murdock High School, the golf team taking on Smith Academy and both cross country teams entertaining Central at Forest Park.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to your girls cross country team as they defeated Putnam to remain undefeated on the season.  Your girls took the top five spots in the race as An’janae Washington, Tanialyz Almenas, Eliza Mullin, Brianna Alvarado and Sara Miranda led the way.  Your boys lost to Putnam as Amadi Pendleton finished third overall and was the top Bulldog finisher.  Your boys’ varsity soccer team fell to Hopkins Academy by a 2 – 0 score.  Shayne Audet and Dariel Santana were solid in the goal.  Jeremy Townsend had the hat trick as the jv boys earned a hard fought    6 – 2 win over Hopkins.  Your golf team dropped an exciting match to Ware High School.  Jaelyn DeBosie had the Bulldog low score of the afternoon as she carded a 49.  Your girls varsity volleyball team took a come from behind 3 – 1 win over Mahar yesterday.  Hannah Brooks and Julia Guilbert led the total team effort.  Your jv girls lost in the preliminary by a 2 – 1 score.  Today we have the girls soccer teams getting over to Monson for games at 4:00 PM.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to your girls varsity volleyball team on their straight set victory over Greenfield yesterday.  Markina Ako-Brew, Julia Guilbert and Hannah Brooks led the way for the girls who improved their season record to 2 wins and 1 loss.  The junior varsity girls recorded a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary match with Brianna Martinez and Angelica Colon leading the way.  Your girls varsity soccer team recorded a 2 – 2 draw at Mahar Regional yesterday.  Tatianna Skarzynski and Avalon Mateo recorded the scores for the Lady bulldogs, while Kayla Brown was once again outstanding in the net. Your boys varsity soccer team lost to Frontier Regional yesterday by a score of 5 – 0.  The jv guys took a 3 – 2 win on goals by Jeremy Townsend, Noah Valentine and Elijah Nixon.  Davion Alban and James Monts divided the net minding responsibilities.  The golf team lost to Pioneer Regional as Colin Fairman and Haley Long recorded the only wins on the afternoon.  Your varsity volleyball team was swept by Athol by a 3 – 0 score.  The jv volleyball team was defeated by Athol by 2 – 1.

Congratulations to both the boys and girls varsity soccer teams as they each recorded opening day wins over Hampden Charter School for Science on Friday.  The girls were led by Tiffany Alban and Zoe Stevens who recorded two points apiece on the 7 – 1 win.  Kayla Brown and Cheyenne Daniels had three saves apiece in the goal.  James Gonzalez had 2 goals and 2 assists and Jovan Wallace found the back of the net twice as the boys won a one-sided game.  Dariel Santana was solid the the nets.  The boys JV soccer team took a 5 to 1 win over Putnam as Jeremy Townsend, Christopher Harris, Elijah Nixon, Noah Valentine and Josh Dunkelly played well for the guys.  The golf team lost at Frontier.  Austin Benoit, Michael Bushey and Jaelyn DeBoise were strong for your Bulldogs.  Today it’s the boys soccer teams travelling to Frontier, the girls volleyball teams travelling to Athol and the golf team getting up to Pioneer Valley Regional.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to both your cross country teams as they each swept their tri-meet with Sci-Tech and Smith Vocational High School.   An’janae Washington finished first overall in the girls meet, while Tanialyz Almenas,  Brianna Alvarado, Eliza Mullin, Sara Miranda and 7th grader Nadia Nowicki each took home top 10 overall honors on the afternoon.  On the boys side it was Amadi Pendleton taking home top overall honors, while Stephan Heathman, Nick Audette and Nathan Colon finished in the top 10 overall to record points for the guys.  Today we have the first games here on campus as both your boys and girls varsity soccer teams will host Hampden Charter School of Science beginning at 4:00 PM.   Your boys jv soccer team will travel to Hubbard Park to match up with Putnam and the golf team gets up to Frontier Regional.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Gabriella Harris won the 100 meter sprint and anchored the 4 by 100 relay as the girls’ track and field team defeated Pioneer Regional by a score of 87 – 57 yesterday.  An’janae Washington, Tianna Scott, Remani Lizana, Kayla Lazzari, Franchesca Diaz and Tanialyz Almenas also took home top honors to lead the girls to the victory.    Nathan Reed took home the win at second singles, but your boys’ tennis team lost to Westfield High by a 4-1 score and the girls tennis team dropped their match to Holyoke High despite wins at first and second singles by Abby Sullivan and Emma Smith.  Today we have both the baseball and the softball teams here at home with games beginning at 4:00 PM and the boys’ tennis team entertaining PVCA at Forest Park.  Good luck to all our teams.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Your boys varsity soccer team lost a 4-0 game to Athol yesterday on senior day.  Korey Colglazier was honored after the contest.  Your jv team lost by a 3-1 score.  The varsity volleyball team finished their regular season on an upswing with a sweep at Easthampton.  The jv girls lost 2-1 with strong play from Aysha Miller, Lauren Hunter, Julissa Arce and Gabby Favreau.

There are no games scheduled today, but your girls varsity soccer team tries to qualify for the MIAA tournament needing a win at Southwick on Friday.  Let’s be sure to get out there and cheer the Bulldogs on!

If you are a student in grade 7 – 12 and would like to try out for basketball, wrestling or cheerleading, then be sure to register for the season online on the family ID website.  If you have any questions or need some instructions on how to register, please pick up the information from Mr. Campagna in the guidance office.

Attention all boys planning to play basketball this winter.  Study Hall will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 3 – 5 pm under the direction of Coach John Williams.  If you plan on trying out for the team and you’d like an opportunity to spend some extra time on your school work, please plan to attend study hall.

Strength and conditioning workouts will now be held every Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7 pm for both the boys and the girls.  Everyone is welcome.  If interested, just show up!

Pre-season conditioning sessions will be held for anyone interested in cheerleading on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 PM.  These sessions will begin on Tuesday, November 10th.  You may not remain after school to attend these sessions.  You must leave the building and return for 6 pm.  If interested – just show up.

The fall season athletic award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 24th.

Premiere Long scored once again, but the boys varsity soccer team lost to Lenox by a 5-1 margin.  The jv, despite two goals by Evan Hill, lost 5-2.  The girls varsity volleyball team gave Belchertown everything they could handle, but lost a 3-1 contest.  Suwayna Rowe, Selena Zayas, Markina Ako-Brew and Jayla Latham were strong throughout.  The jv volleyball team dropped an exciting 2-1 match despite the solid play of Madison Woodard, Brionne Burnett and Brianna Weinberg.

Today your cross country teams are at Forest Park and the girls travel to Chicopee as they try to qualify for the MIAA tournament.  Let’s be sure to get out there and cheer the Bulldogs on!

Congratulations to your girls varsity volleyball team on their 3-0 win over Dean Tech yesterday.  The win earns the girls a trip to the MIAA post season tournament which will be held the first week of November.  Julia Guilbert, Mykaela DeBrito, Brionne Burnett and Kassandra Diaz played well for the girls.  Premere Long scored your Bulldogs only goal as the boys varsity soccer team fell to Frontier on the road last night.  The jv guys lost despite some strong goal keeping by Christopher Harris.

Today is senior day for the girls soccer team as both the jv and varsity will entertain Hampshire Regional.  Monday is the Dig Pink game as well as senior day for the girls volleyball team and the boys soccer teams will entertain Lenox in their own senior day.  Make it a point to get out to some late season games and cheer your athletes on to a victory.

Your girls varsity volleyball team moved to within one win of qualifying for the MIAA post season tournament with their sweep over Southbridge yesterday.  The girls were led by Kassandra Diaz, Suwayna Rowe, Hannah Brooks and Remani Lizana.  The jv girls took a 2-1 win in the preliminary game thanks to the strong play by Aurora Garcia and Niyah Miller.  Your boys varsity soccer team dropped an exciting 4-3 game on the road to St. Joseph’s High School last night.  James Gonzalez recorded two goals and Premere Long had the other as the guys fell a bit short of victory.  Your girls varsity soccer team lost a 5-0 contest to Monson.  Both the girls and boys cross country teams defeated Chicopee yesterday.  An’janae Washington won her 7th race of the season with a new Chicopee State Park course record, while Tanialyz Alemnas, Brianna Alvarado and Eliza Mulin also placed for the win.   Amadi Pendleton, Nick Audette, Dylan Hibbert and Nate Colon placed in the top 10 finishers for the guys
