Congratulations to your girls varsity tennis team on their 3 – 2 win over Greenfield yesterday. Remie Jerard and Danielle Atayan won at second and third singles, while Beyonca Twiggs and Rhayanna Shubrick took home the deciding point at first doubles.
 
Maddie Wyszynski surrendered just three hits and struck out three as the sophomore right hander earned the complete game one-sided win over Pathfinder yesterday. Wyszynski also had two hits offensively to help plate the runs in the win. Kayla Brown continued her offensive charge with 3 hits and 4 runs scored.
 
Finally the boys volleyball team took a straight set sweep over Longmeadow yesterday thanks in part to solid play by Aaron Williams, Paul Roberts and Esias Valentin.
 
Today we have the boys’ tennis team traveling to Holyoke High and both baseball teams traveling to Hampshire Regional. Good luck to all our teams!

Maddie Wyzsynski had 2 hits, but the varsity softball team dropped a 6 – 2 game to Central under the lights last night.  The jv girls lost in the preliminary game as well.
In the only other game action yesterday the boys varsity tennis team was swept at Turners Falls.
Today both softball teams travel to Pathfinder for games at 4:00 PM, the boys varsity volleyball team travels to Longmeadow High and the girls tennis team is at home at Forest Park.  Good luck to al our teams.

The varsity baseball team earned a 2 – 1 win over Putnam yesterday.  Armando Morales scattered three hits and struck out 8 to pick up the complete game win, while Dariel Santana and Rob Scoville turned some nifty base running into the Bulldogs’ two runs.
The boys varsity tennis team dropped a 5 – 0 match to Greenfield.
Finally both volleyball teams earned wins over Athol yesterday.  Aaron Williams, Davian Alban and Esias Valentin were solid throughout in the varsity sweep.  The jv took a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary match.
Today we have both softball teams over at Greenleaf Park to take on Central High.  The jv gets things going at 5:00 PM, while the varsity gets things started at 7:00 PM.  The boys tennis team also gets up to Turners Falls.  Good luck to all our teams.

The weather hasn’t always cooperated with the spring athletic schedules, but today we have a full schedule of games and events.  The boys jv and varsity volleyball teams will entertain Athol Regional High School beginning at 4:00 PM.  Also today we have the boys tennis team at Forest Park and the jv and varsity baseball teams matched up with Putnam.  Finally the girls tennis team will travel to PVCA for a 4:00 PM match.  Good luck to all our teams.
Today is the last day for any member of the junior class – who has eared a varsity jacket to get measured.  Please do not come to reserve your jacket after today because we will be unable to order one.

Kayla Brown had a two-out double in the bottom of the 7th inning to score Lela Ficarra and the varsity softball team earned a 4 – 3 win over Hopkins Academy yesterday.  Bailey Barlow had four hits on the afternoon to continue her torrid hitting display as the junior first base player is hitting .682 on the young season.  Ficarra and Aurora Garcia had two hits apiece.  Jayden Dow pitched the complete game for the win.  The sophomore right hander allowed 6 hits and struck out 6 to earn the win.
The jv softball team dropped a one-sided game over at Greenleaf Park.
Rhayanna Shubrick scored the only point at third singles and the girls tennis team fell to Pope Francis yesterday by a 4 – 1 score.
The boys tennis team was swept by Central over at Forest Park.
Attention members of the junior class.  If you are a varsity athlete and meet the other qualifications please stop by Mr. Campagna’s office this week to get measured for your senior jacket.  We will finish measuring on Friday and orders will be placed.  Don’t be shut out.

Congratulations to your boys’ varsity volleyball team as they kept their undefeated season going with a 3 – 1 win over East Longmeadow last night.  The guys were led by Ki-Sean Johnson, Aaron Williams, Paul Roberts and James Monts.
All other games and events were postponed yesterday because of the weather.
Today we have the softball teams entertaining Hopkins Academy, the boys’ tennis team entertaining Central, the girls tennis team traveling to Pope Francis and both baseball teams getting out to Monson.  Good luck to all our teams this afternoon.

Your boys varsity volleyball team took home three straight wins over the break to improve their season record to 5 – 0.  Today they travel to East Longmeadow for what could prove to be a very competitive match.
The varsity baseball team dropped games to Granby and Palmer over the break.  In a schedule change the guys will travel to Monson tomorrow afternoon.
The softball team split their two games defeating Smith Academy and falling in the 7th inning to McCann Tech.  The girls will entertain Hopkins tomorrow afternoon.
The boys track team scored a decisive win over Southwick over the break, while the girls lost a competitive meet to Southwick.
The girls tennis team remains undefeated, while the boys team split their matches beating Sci-Tech and falling to Turners Falls.
With good weather we are expecting  a full slate of events this week.  Let’s get out there and cheer your Bulldogs on to victory!

Jayden Dow pitched a perfect game as the varsity softball team earned a one-sided win over Pope Francis yesterday to improve their record to 2 wins and 2 losses on the season.  Dow faced just fifteen hitters over the five inning game and the sophomore right hander struck out 11, while allowing no batter to reach base.  Dow also had three hits while completing an outstanding afternoon.  Bailey Barlow, Kayla Brown and Maddie Wyszynski were solid in the 16 hit offensive output.
Bryan Trinh swept at first singles and the boys varsity tennis team earned a 5 – 0 win over Sci-Tech to improve their record to 2 wins and just 1 loss on the season.
Today we have both baseball teams traveling to Ware High School, both track teams traveling to Putnam and the girls tennis team entertaining St. Mary High School at Forest Park.  Good luck to all our teams!

Aaron Williams, Ki-Sean Johnson, Esias Valentin and James Monts provided a steadying influence as they led the varsity volleyball team to a straight set sweep over Sci-Tech yesterday.  The win opened the home season for the guys and saw them remain undefeated on the young season.
All other games and athletic events were postponed yesterday.
Today we have the boys varsity tennis team taking on Sci-Tech at Forest Park and the varsity softball team traveling to Pope Francis for a 4:00 PM contest.
Attention juniors!  There are some new requirements – but if you have earned a varsity letter by the end of your junior year, participated on any team during your junior year and have three seasons in a single sport, then you may qualify for a free senior jacket.  Stop by Mr. Campagna’s office to see if you qualify and to get measured for your jacket.
Today is the Make Your Own Sundae fundraiser event to help defray costs for the boys basketball championship award ceremony.  Sundaes will be sold during all lunch periods for all grades today.  Each sundae may be purchased for $4.00.  Enjoy some ice cream and help the championship basketball team at the same time!

Congratulations to your boys tennis team on their exciting 3 – 2 win over Pioneer Valley Christian Academy yesterday.  Patrick Morrow took home the win at second singles,  Brandon Rusinque and Noah Demers took the first doubles point and Emmanuel Rivera and Mackenzie Mongeon took the winning point at second doubles.
Today, if the weather cooperates, we have a full slate of games.
Next Wednesday is a make your own sundae fundraiser for your boys championship basketball team.  Sundaes will sell for $4.00 during all lunch periods.

Congratulations to your girls tennis team on their 5 – 0 sweep over Holyoke High School yesterday.  Emma Smith, Remie Jerard and Danielle Atayan were each victorious in the singles matches and Beyonca Twiggs and Rhayanna Shubrick won at first doubles and Venus Nguyen and Katie Sharpe took the win at the second doubles slot.
Your boys varsity baseball team earned a hard fought 9 – 4 win over Lee High School yesterday.  Isaiah Ramos had four hits including 2 RBI, while Trey Faulkner added three hits with a double and 2 RBI to lead the offensive charge.  Armando Morales took home the pitching win.
Your boys track team dropped a close meet at Monson High yesterday.  Tre Hodge (mile run), Noah Valentine (110 meter high hurdles), Siare Barklow (800 meters), Jahmal Campbell (long jump and triple jump) each took home first place finishes on the day.  Your relay team was also victorious in both relay races.
Finally it was your varsity softball team that dropped to tough one on the road at Monument Mountain by a 10 – 7 score.  Maddie Wyszynski and Lela Ficarra had two hits apiece in the loss.
Today we have the boys tennis team getting over to Pioneer Valley Christian Academy and tomorrow we have a full slate of games scheduled.

Your boys’ varsity volleyball team opened their season with a 3 – 0 sweep at Southwick yesterday.  Ki-sean Johnson, Aaron Williams, Davian Alban and Evan Tran paced the guys to their impressive road win.  The jv guys lost by a 2 – 1 score in the preliminary match.  Michael Green had an impressive service run in the winning game.
Jayden Dow had 10 strikeouts, but the girls varsity softball team managed just two singles by Maddie Wyszynski and Bailey Barlow, as they lost their opener to Pioneer Regional by a 7 – 2 score.
Your boys tennis team is back in action after a one year hiatus as they dropped a 4 – 1 match to Westfield High yesterday.  Jiovanni Cruz and Mackenzie Mongeon took the only point in an exciting second doubles match.
Today the varsity softball team travels to Monument Mountain High School in the Berkshires, the girls tennis team gets up to Holyoke and the boys track team is at Monson.  Today is also our varsity baseball home opener for the baseball team as they will take on Lee High School at Hubbard Park at 4:45 PM.  Good luck to all our teams.

Our interscholastic athletic teams really get going this week as the boys tennis team, the boys’ volleyball teams and both softball teams open their seasons today.  The softball teams are waiting to get the green light on opening the fields to ensure today’s games will be played.  The girls tennis team gets things going tomorrow and the boys track and field team and the varsity softball team are each on the road.  Tomorrow we are also scheduled for the baseball home opener, but the field condition will dictate that event..  Finally, the girls track team kicks off their season on Friday along with a full slate of other scheduled events.  Good luck to all!

Your boys’ track and field team opened their season on Friday with a very competitive loss at West Springfield High School.  The guys were led by Erick Bass, Jeremy Townsend, Jahmal Campbell and Kofi Agyei-Yeboah who each recorded first place finishes.  Bass also qualified for the Western Mass championship meet in the 100 meter dash and Ethan Wells recorded a third place, and the only throwing top three finish in the javelin.
Things really get going this week as the boys tennis team, the boys’ volleyball teams and both softball teams open their seasons tomorrow.  The girls tennis team gets things going on Wednesday and the girls track team kicks off their season on Friday.  Good luck to all!

Spring tryouts begin today and all times, locations and transportation plans are listed on the monitors throughout the school. Due to the weather a few off campus sessions will be held today. Students who have not yet registered online must do so and be medically cleared before attending anything this week.
 
An after school room will be available all week for student athletes who have tryouts or practices beginning anytime from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

The boys varsity basketball team dropped their state semi-final game last night at Worcester State University. It was simply not their night as they never really were able to execute their game plan. Aaron Williams had 15 points and Souleymane Diaby added 10. The game marled the final high school varsity appearance for Jalen Thomas, Jamal Jackson, Ja’Quan Johnson, Ki-Sean Johnson and Aaron Williams. Congratulations to the seniors and to the entire team on a season well done. Their Western Mass Championship banner will soon hand on the walls of the gym!
 
Earlier this week Aaron Williams was named the Western Massachusetts boys’ high school basketball Player of the Year by the basketball Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Aaron as he completes a very successful high school career. He finishes this season with 522 points and his career with 1204 points.
 
The spring interscholastic athletic programs begin on Monday and tryout times and locations for all sports are posted online and on the monitors throughout the school building. Only those students who have registered on the family ID website and have medical clearance from the Athletic Trainer will be allowed to participate in any tryout session. If you have any questions relating to your eligibility please see Sam or Mr. Campagna today.

Your girls varsity volleyball team improved their record to 6 wins and just 1 loss with a 3 – 0 win over Greenfield last night.  Aurora Garcia, Sydney Barklow and Tyleisia Cooper were solid in the win.  The jv girls took home  a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary.  Amaya Harris, Narah Johnson and Sauna Charles played well in the win.  Your boys varsity soccer team lost a tough 2 – 1 game at South Hadley.  Jovan Wallace had the lone score for the guys. The jv guys lost in a shoot out by an 8 – 5 score.  Kendall Wallace had a three goal afternoon and Riley Miles added two in the loss.  The golf team recorded their first win of the year with a sweep over Central yesterday.  Bryan Trinh was solid on the afternoon.  We have no information on the cross country results.
Today we have the golf team at home against McCann Tech and tomorrow we have the girls volleyball teams traveling to Mahar for a big match up and the girls soccer teams here taking on Central in a 4:00 PM game.  Let’s get out there and fill that stands with Bulldog fans!

Your girls varsity volleyball team improved their season record to 5 wins and just 1 loss after their 3 – 0 win over Duggan Academy yesterday. Sydney Barklow, Cassie Fairman and Tyleishia Cooper led the way for your girls.
 
Today we have the jv and varsity volleyball teams traveling to Greenfield, the boys jv and varsity soccer teams traveling to South Hadley, both cross country teams over at Chicopee State Park and the golf team at home at Veterans golf course.
 
Tomorrow is a light day as we have just the golf team in action and on Friday your girls jv and varsity soccer teams are in action here beginning at 4:00 PM.
 
Attention all boys in grades 7 – 12… don’t forget about our tennis team this spring. Please stop by and speak with Mr. Hamilton if you are interested in playing.

t was a big day for Bulldog sports yesterday as your girls varsity volleyball team scored a 3 – 0 win over Athol.  Tyleishia Cooper, Cassie Fairman and Aurora Garcia were solid throughout as the girls continued their winning ways.  The jv girls also recorded the road win in the preliminary game.  Sauna Charles, Daisy Matos and Amaya Harris played well to lead the girls. Your boys varsity soccer team recorded a one-sided win over Greenfield.  Jovan Wallace had 3 goals and an assist to lead the offensive charge.  Anthony Lazzari had 2 goals and an assist in the win.  Davian Alban and James Monts combined for the shutout in the goal.  Your girls varsity soccer team kept their winning ways going with a one-sided win over Renaissance.  Ajianni Blackman had four goals in the win.  Samantha Odom, Gianna Skakowski and Sara Pierce each scored their first varsity goal.  Finally the golf team lost a heartbreaker to Mahar.  Michael Green, Michael Scoville, Colin Consedine, Zariah Green and Alexandria Barnard-Davignon recorded individual points on the afternoon.  
Today the girls varsity volleyball team hosts Duggan Academy here at 4:00 PM.  Outside games and events will be held if the weather cooperates.

Your girls varsity soccer team earned a 2 – 0 win over Mount Everett on Friday. Kayla Brown and Bailey Barlow combined for the shutout in the nets. Kianna Ramos and Jill Megit had a goal apiece to pace the offense. Your girls jv team dropped a 4 – 0 game on Friday as well.
 
The girls’ freshman volleyball team dropped a 2 – 1 match to Granby on Friday in their season opener. Jaylene Lopez, Lanaya Greene and Kayleena Colon played well in the loss.
 
Today we have the boys varsity soccer team here against Greenfield in a 4 pm contest, the girls varsity soccer team over at Marshall Roy against Renaissance School, the jv and varsity volleyball teams getting up to Athol ad the golf team traveling to Mahar. Good luck to all our teams.

Your boys freshmen basketball team recorded a 58 – 45 win over West Springfield yesterday as Sandro Diaz had 16 points to lead the guys.  Sydney Borges and Darin Smith added 13 and 11 points respectively to lead a balanced afternoon of play.  The jv guys picked up a solid team win last night as Gabriel Perez had 19 points and Kevin West added 10 to pace the guys to the road win at West Springfield.  The varsity guys couldn’t get it going and they lost in the main event.  Tonight is senior night for the wrestlers as they host Minnechaug here at 7:00 PM and the girls jv and varsity basketball teams travel to Amherst for games beginning at 5:30 PM.  Tomorrow the girls freshmen are here at 4:00 PM and on Thursday and Friday it’s the guys hosting Minnechaug and Eaathampton with the jv games tipping at 5:30 PM.  Let’s get some big crowds out there.  Let’s fill the stands with Bulldog fans.  Admission is just $3.00 for students, $5.00 for adults and staff is admitted free to all regular season home games.

Informational meetings for all spring sports will be held next week.  The boys’ volleyball meeting will be held on Monday, Boys and girls track and field on Tuesday, boys and girls tennis also on Tuesday, softball on Wednesday and finally it will be baseball next Thursday.  All meetings will take place during Student life Activity period.

We are getting down to the wire on the spring athletic season as we will have three teams playing MIAA tournament games later today.  Your varsity volleyball team has advanced to the Western Mass semi-finals tonight at Agawam. Game time is at 6:30 PM.   Your varsity softball team is also playing in the quarter-final round of the tournament this afternoon.  The girls travel to Easthampton for a 4:00 PM game at Nonotuck Park.  Finally the varsity baseball team has an opening round tournament game today at Granby High.  First pitch is at 4:00 PM.  Tomorrow it’s your boys’ varsity tennis team who will travel to Monument Mountain for their opening round tournament match and on Saturday Gabby Harris competes in the state championship meet in the 100 meter dash and our 4 x 100 meter relay team – who took home top honors in the West / Central meet – will try and take home the state championship.   Good luck to all.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to your boys’ varsity volleyball team on their exciting upset win over Chicopee Comp last night in five sets.  The guys dropped the opening set, won the second and lost a one-sided third game before they regrouped and regained the momentum on the night.  Austin Benoit, David Marsh, Aaron Williams and Esias Valentine were solid in leading the guys to the win.  They advance to the Western Mass semi-finals tomorrow night at Agawam.  Your varsity softball team is also playing in their quarter-final round of the tournament on Thursday.  The girls travel to Easthampton for a 4:00 PM game at Nonotuck Park.  The varsity baseball team has an opening round tournament game on Thursday at Granby High.  First pitch is at 4:00 PM.  Finally it’s your boys’ varsity tennis team who will travel to Monument Mountain for their opening round tournament match.  We are waiting for final scheduling word on this which will be played either tomorrow or Friday.  Wow!  Good luck to all.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to your boys’ varsity tennis team as they earned their first win of the 2017 season with an exciting 3 – 2 win over PVCA last night.  Christopher Calvanese swept at third singles and Nathan Reed had a hard fought win at first singles to lead the guys.  Matthew Wraga continued his undefeated season with a 6 – 1, 6 – 2 win at second singles.  We have a full slate of games today as both the softball and volleyball teams are home and the boys’ tennis team travels to Turners Falls. Tomorrow the baseball team opens their season as both the baseball and softball teams are here beginning at 4:00 PM and the girls tennis team gets back into action.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.
