Daily Update

An’janae Washington had 24 points and 10 steals as your girls varsity basketball team defeated Amherst by a score of 47 – 40.  Safarie Bryant lead the way for the girls jv win in the preliminary.  Today your girls freshmen have the main gym game at 4:00 PM and the wrestlers travel to Southwick.  Tomorrow, the guys basketball teams are here against South Hadley and on Friday, the girls get over to Chicopee High.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Believe it or not – Online registration for all spring sports will begin next Monday, February 8th on the family ID website.  There will be no in-person registration sessions. The season begins for all sports on Monday, March 21st.  You must have a valid physical exam on file with the nurse and register online in order to be eligible.  Otherwise, all students in grades 7 – 12 are eligible to participate.  Register early.  We will be offering teams for baseball, softball, boys volleyball, boys and girls tennis, and boys and girls track and field.  See Mr. Campagna if you have any questions.

There will be a meeting on Thursday during Student Life period for any girl in grade 7 – 12 interested in playing softball this Spring.  Preseason workouts for softball will begin this Saturday in the back gym from 12:30 – 2:30 PM.  Registration is not needed.  Just show up.

The boys varsity basketball team dropped a close game on the road yesterday to Agawam by a score of 49 – 39.  Jahleel Gabriel led all Bulldog scorers with 10 points.  Your boys freshmen basketball team staged a torrid fourth quarter as they defeated Agawam by a score of 49 – 37.  Donte Bolden had 20 points in the win.  Today your girls jv and varsity get up to Amherst and tomorrow your girls freshmen have the main gym game at 4:00 PM and the wrestlers travel to Southwick.  On Thursday, the guys basketball teams are here against South Hadley and on Friday, the girls get over to Chicopee High.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Congratulations to Jessie Barbee as he won the 400 meter run in the Spartan Invitational run on Friday. Today is a light day for athletic events today as your boys tennis team takes a trip to Turners Falls for a 3:45 PM match.  Tomorrow we have both the jv baseball and jv softball teams here on campus with games against Pathfinder.  Tomorrow we also have the girls tennis team entertaining Holyoke High, the girls track team getting over to Mahar and the volleyball teams travelling to Ware.  On Wednesday it’s the softball teams making the trip to McCann Tech, the baseball teams getting over to Forest Park for games against Sci-Tech, boys tennis at PVCS and the varsity volleyball team entertaining Commerce here.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Daily Update

Marcus Hernandez had two hits and Cameron Rodriguez and Nick Thibodeau had 2 RBI’s apiece as your boys varsity baseball team earned a 7-1 win over Sci-Tech yesterday.  Shayne Audet was solid on the mound allowing just 3 hits and striking out 10 to earn the win.  Dariel Santana was solid, but your jv baseball team lost to Sci-Tech at Hubbard Park.  Your girls varsity softball team lost a close game to McCann yesterday despite a solid pitching effort by Jada Ficarra.  Anissa Pouliot was solid in the field and had one of the two Lady Bulldog hits.  Your jv team also lost to McCann despite a homerun by Alyssa Padilla.  The boys tennis team was swept by Northampton yesterday.  Anh Nugyen and Roberto Falvo continue to impress with their style of play.  Finally, Cristian Rivera won the mile as your boys track and field team matched up against Commerce.  Today the boys baseball team gets right back at it here against PVCS and the girls track team gets over to West Springfield High.  Both tennis teams play today.  Tomorrow your baseball teams travel to Mt. Everett and the varsity softball team gets over to Westfield Voke.  The volleyball team is home against Westfield and the boys tennis team is at Forest Park.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Daily Update

Your boys volleyball teams lost to Chicopee Comp on Friday.  Ace Alban and David Marsh were solid in the varsity match.  All outdoor events were postponed.  Today is a big day as both the baseball and softball teams open their home seasons with games beginning at 4:00 PM.  The boys track team is over at Central and the boys tennis team gets up to Northampton.  Finally, your boys volleyball team travels to Commerce for a 4:00 PM match.  Tomorrow the boys baseball team gets right back at it here and the girls track team gets over to West Springfield High.  Both tennis teams play tomorrow as well.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.
