The varsity baseball game and the girls’ tennis match were each postponed yesterday due to the weather.  Congratulations to your boys volleyballs teams as they each recorded wins over Belchertown yesterday.  The varsity had an exciting 3-1 win as Austin Benoit (31 assists and 23 digs) and Nathan Johnson (13 digs and 15 kills) paced your Bulldogs.  Xavier Hines-Coombs, Otto Pellegrino and Colin Fairman also played well in the match.  The JV took a 2-1 win as Dante Bolden and Esias Valentin were solid throughout.  Today your jv and varsity softball teams get over to Central, the baseball teams will entertain Ware and the boys’ tennis team takes on Sci-Tech at Forest Park.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Olivia Hatten took home the honors at third singles, but your girls tennis team dropped a 4-1 match to Agawam.  The varsity softball team lost to McCann in their home opener by an 8 – 3 score.  Aemilia Rivera had two hits in the loss.  The JV softball team also lost to McCann.  Today the varsity softball team travels to Pope Francis High School and the boys baseball teams entertain St. Mary’s high and the boys tennis team entertains Central.  Finally, it’s a big day for volleyball as the guys host Ware.  All home events begin at 4:00 PM.  Good luck to all!  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Your girls track team opened their season with a convincing win over Sci-Tech yesterday.  Anjanae Washington took home top honors in the 400 meters and she was on the winning team for the 4 by 400 relay.  Remani Lizana won both the shot put and the discus, while Eliza Mullin was best in the high jump and Tiffany Alban tops in the javelin.  Other top performers in the meet were Sarah Ledoux, Tatianna Skarzynski, Alizaya Clark and Tanialize Almenas.  Your boys tennis team remained undefeated as they won an exciting 3-2 match over Turners Falls.  Ahn Nguyen, Nathan Reed and the first doubles team of Roberto Falvo and Chris Calvanese earned the win for the guys.  The varsity volleyball team lost a very competitive match at Commerce.  Nathan Johnson, Xavier Hines-Coombs and Austin Benoit were solid in the loss.  Your varsity softball team lost to Easthampton on a walk off hit in the 7th inning by a 10 – 9 score.  Kayla Brown had three hits, while Alyssa Padilla and Aemilia Rivera had two apiece in the loss.  The jv softball team dropped their game at Easthampton, despite solid play from Gianna Berardi, Gabriella Miranda and Asher Joseph.  Today we have the softball teams at home against McCann Tech and the girls tennis team entertaining Agawam.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Abby Sullivan lost a tie breaker and the girls’ varsity tennis team was swept by Central by a score of 5 – 0 yesterday afternoon. Today we have the boys track team getting over to West Springfield and the girls track team taking on Sci-Tech. Both meets get started at 4:00 PM. Your girls softball teams are travelling to Easthampton and the baseball teams are on the road at Hopkins Academy. Finally the guys volleyball teams have a league showdown at Commerce and the boys tennis team entertains Turners Falls. Good luck to all! Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Spring Season Tryouts

Tryouts are scheduled as follows:

Tennis:  Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis will be held at Forest Park from 3 – 5 pm. While we will provide transportation to and from the Park on Monday, March 21st, students must arrange their own transportation on a regular basis.

Track and Field:  Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field will be held outside on school grounds from 3 – 5 pm  Once the teams have been selected some practices will be held on school grounds immediately after school and some practices will be held at AIC beginning at 5:30 PM.  On AIC practice days, student must leave campus and arrange their own transportation to AIC.

Volleyball:  Boys’ Volleyball tryouts will be held from 3 – 5 pm in the main gym at school.  On an ongoing basis, the varsity will practice most days from 3 – 5 pm and the junior varsity will practice from 5 – 7 PM.

Baseball / Softball:  Tryouts will be held on the athletic fields from 3 – 5:30 PM.  Once the teams have been selected, the coaches will distribute a practice schedule.  Most practices will be held immediately after school; however some regular practices may be scheduled on a weekend day.

Nathan Colon had a triple double last night as the boys varsity basketball team defeated Belchertown by a score of 76 – 46.  Colon had 13 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the guys to their win.  Justin Rennis had a double double as well.  Aaron Williams went off for 31 points and 12 boards as the JV guys took the preliminary game by a 61 – 49 score.  Kisean Johnson had a double double in the win as well.  Tonight, it’s the girls jv and varsity entertaining Belchertown and tomorrow it’s the Western Mass tournament for your wrestling team.  Good luck to all.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Tianna Scott had a double double, but your girls varsity basketball team fell to Chicopee Comp on Tuesday.  Last night it was the boys who lost a heartbreaker to Comp despite 20 points and 15 rebounds from Justin Rennis.  Christian Garcia-Nieves earned his 100th career win last night as the wrestling team took a league win over Hampshire Regional on Senior night.  Tonight your boys jv and varsity basketball teams travel to Belchertown and the girls freshmen team gets over to Chicopee.  Tomorrow, it’s the girls jv and varsity entertaining Belchertown.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Remani Lizana had 10 points and 11 rebounds and An’janae Washington added 11 points, but your girls varsity basketball team dropped a heartbreaker to Chicopee on Friday by a score of   33 – 32.  Xavier Hines-Coombs earned the 100th and 101st wins of his varsity wrestling career on Saturday at Frontier.  Congratulations to Xavier!  Tuesday your girls jv and varsity basketball teams travel to Chicopee Comp for games beginning at 5:30 PM.  The girls freshmen team will entertain Comp in the main gym with tip at 4:00 PM.  Wednesday is senior night for the wrestlers as they entertain Hampshire Regional.  Christian Garcia-Nieves needs just one win to earn his 100th win of his career.  And your boys’ varsity basketball team will travel to Comp for yesterday’s make-up game while they try to keep their hold on first place in the Suburban league standings.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

The boys varsity basketball team dropped a close game on the road yesterday to Agawam by a score of 49 – 39.  Jahleel Gabriel led all Bulldog scorers with 10 points.  Your boys freshmen basketball team staged a torrid fourth quarter as they defeated Agawam by a score of 49 – 37.  Donte Bolden had 20 points in the win.  Today your girls jv and varsity get up to Amherst and tomorrow your girls freshmen have the main gym game at 4:00 PM and the wrestlers travel to Southwick.  On Thursday, the guys basketball teams are here against South Hadley and on Friday, the girls get over to Chicopee High.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Nasia Torres hit a 3-run home run and Anissa Pouliot had four hits as your varsity softball team earn 14-5 win over Gateway yesterday.  Bailey Barlow had a grand slam home run and Gianni Beradi was solid in the circle as your jv softball team earned a 23-12 win over Gateway as well.  The varsity baseball team dropped a heartbreaker in 10 innings to Gateway by a 7-6 score.  Cameron Roadriguez and Shane Audet had three hits apiece for the guys.  Your varsity volleyball team swept Dean Tech on senior day here at school.  Today we have the softball teams traveling to Smith Academy, the baseball teams have home games against Granby and the boys tennis team closes out the regular season with a match against Sci-Tech.  On Friday we have the girls tennis team closing things out with West Springfield and the track teams entering the PVIAC end of year multi-school meet.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Congratulations to the boys tennis team in their 4-1 win over PVCS yesterday.  Nathan Reed won at first singles, Anh Nugyen won at second singles and Michael Elmasian and Justin Greene-Williams took the honors at second doubles to ensure the win.  Allyssa Padilla and Kayla Brown knocked out two hits apiece, but your varsity softball team lost on the road at McCann Tech.  The Jv softball team took a win thanks to Jillian Jacques grand slam home run and a solid effort inside the circle by Gianna Beradi.  Your varsity volleyball team lost in straight sets to Commerce.  Austin Benoit had 19 assists and David Marsh had 11 kills in the losing effort.  Today has the baseball teams travelling to St. Mary High.  The varsity is under the lights (7 PM start) at Bullens Field in Westfield and tomorrow we have the varsity softball team here at 4:00 PM against league leading Southwick High, the volleyball teams are getting over to Sci-Tech and the girls tennis team entertains Ludlow.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Michael Elmasian and Justin Greene-Williams clinched the 3 – 2 win for the boys varsity tennis team with a sweep at second doubles.  Their win, along with singles victories by Anh Nguyen and Taariq Woods clinched the 3-2 team victory over St. Mary High School yesterday. Congratulations to your boys’ varsity volleyball team on their 3-1 win over Dean Tech.  Austin Benoit had 25 assists to help the guys to the victory.  Today it’s the softball teams travelling to Palmer and the baseball teams entertaining Monson all with 4:00 PM starting times.  Tomorrow the softball teams keep right at it as they will travel out to Ware and the girls tennis team travels to Central.  The girls track team matches up with Commerce and the boys tennis team hosts Westfield High.  Finally tomorrow we have both volleyball teams getting over to Holyoke High.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Everett despite solid play from Dariel Sanatgan and Lorenzo Lugo.  Your varsity softball team lost to Monson on the road on Friday.  Kianna Dunkelly and Sara Brown provided the offensive punch.  Your jv softball team lost by Mercy Rule.  Firday also saw the varsity volleyball team drop a 3-1 match to Sci-Tech.  Colin Fairman had 24 assists, while Ryan Robbins had 20 digs in the losing effort.  The jv volleyball team, led by Esias Valentine and Ray Caquias who got things going early, defeated Sci-Tech in the preliminary match,.  Joe Torres, Toren Hill and Austin Benoit were solid in the win.  Today we have the girls tennis team travelling to Cathedral and both baseball teams getting over to Hampshire Regional.  The varsity softball team will be here against Holyoke Catholic in a league game beginning at 4:00 PM.  Tomorrow we have varsity volleyball over at Dean Tech and the boys tennis team entertaining St. Mary High at Forest Park.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Kyle Pingree was masterful on the mound and Xavier Vegerano provided the offensive punch as your varsity baseball team defeated Palmer by a score of 4-2.  Anissa Pouliot knocked out five hits and Jada Ficarra, Kori Megit and Aemelia Rivera had two hits apiece as the varsity softball team defeated Pathfinder by a 19-17 score.  Your girls varsity tennis team was swept by Belchertown and the boys varsity volleyball team lost a five set contest to Holyoke High.  Colin Fairman had 27 assists for the guys.  Both the jv softball and baseball teams lost yesterday.  John Ortiz and James Theriault played well for the guys.   Today your girls varsity softball team will get out to Dean Tech, while the baseball teams entertain Hopkins Academy.  The girls tennis team travels to Minnechaug and the boys tennis team is at Forest Park.  On Wednesday, the softball teams make it 3 games in 3 days when they travel to Granby and the baseball teams do the same as they travel to Ware.  The varsity volleyball team will host Dean Tech and the girls tennis team is at forest Park.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Aemelia Rivera had 4 hits and Kayla Brown had a grand slam home run and 9 runs batted in the lead the varsity softball team to a one-sided win over Westfield Voke yesterday.  Your varsity baseball team dropped a 6-3 road game to Mt. Everett despite 3 hits by Shayne Audet.  Griffin Spear and Nick Thibodeau chipped in on offense and Guilmond Torres gave a solid outing on the mound.  Your boys varsity tennis team fell to Chicopee Comp by a 4-1 score.  Nathan Reed was impressive to earn the win at first singles.  Both the jv and varsity volleyball teams were swept by Westfield at home.  Your varsity showed some strong net play, but that wasn’t enough to take the match.  Today we have the softball and the volleyball teams here at school and the girls tennis team gets over to Chicopee High for a 4:00 PM match.  Tomorrow the baseball teams travel to Gateway and the softball teams have had their games against Ware moved to here.  The girls track team is at Central taking on Putnam and the boys tennis team is at home at Forest Park.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Your boys volleyball teams lost to Chicopee Comp on Friday.  Ace Alban and David Marsh were solid in the varsity match.  All outdoor events were postponed.  Today is a big day as both the baseball and softball teams open their home seasons with games beginning at 4:00 PM.  The boys track team is over at Central and the boys tennis team gets up to Northampton.  Finally, your boys volleyball team travels to Commerce for a 4:00 PM match.  Tomorrow the boys baseball team gets right back at it here and the girls track team gets over to West Springfield High.  Both tennis teams play tomorrow as well.  Make plans to attend one of these contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

The second doubles team of Cassie Fairman and Nyah Seago took home the afternoon’s only points as your girls varsity tennis team fell to Belchertown by a score of 4-1.  There are no games or athletic events scheduled for today, but tomorrow we have a full slate of events as the softball teams are scheduled to open things here against Smith Academy, the girls tennis team travels to Northampton, the boys track team makes history with their first meet ever at Southwick and the volleyball teams travel to Belchertown.  Thursday has the softball team at home again against Gateway, the boys tennis team at Blunt Park against Sci-Tech and the girls track team gets things going at Central against Sci-Tech and Putnam.  Make plans to attend one of these early season contests.  Let’s get ready to fill the stand with Bulldog fans.
