Daily Announcement

Quadir Price and Erik Bass led the way offensively as your boys freshmen basketball team downed Northampton High on the road by a score of 38 – 32 yesterday afternoon.  The guys used a stifling man-to-man team defense to shut down Northampton in the final minutes and clinch the hard fought victory.  Your freshmen girls’ team got out to a 10 – 0 run to open the game, but they couldn’t handle Chicopee’s defensive pressure and they lost despite a game high 11 points from Kailie Methe.  Today the girls jv and varsity are here beginning at 5:30 PM. And the boys’ freshmen and jv basketball teams get over to Longmeadow High.  Tomorrow the girls jv and varsity are right back at it with a double header here against Longmeadow High and on Friday it’s all three boys basketball teams taking on Putnam High.  The freshmen game is here with a 4:00 PM tip.  Remember that staff will be admitted free of charge to any regular season home game and student tickets will be priced at $3.00 for all jv and varsity events and just $1.00 for an afternoon freshmen game.  Other adult tickets are priced at $5.00.  Season tickets are available for adults at $40.00 and for students at $20.  These will cover admission to any regular season winter athletic event for all sports.    Let’s get a big crowd out there.  Let’s fill the stands with Bulldog fans.
