Dariel Santana had seven saves in the nets, but your boys varsity soccer team dropped a 1 – 0  contest at Easthampton yesterday.  The guys should learn their MIAA tournament seeding later today.  Good luck, guys!
Your girls varsity soccer team completed their season yesterday with a 1 -1 draw at Easthampton.  Giana Skakowski scored the girls only goal and Bailey Barlow and Kayla Brown combined for 13 saves in the nets.  The girls ended their season on an up note with a win and a draw in their final two games.
Your girls varsity volleyball team will play their opening round tournament match on Friday at Easthampton.  Things get going at 6:30PM.  Admission will be charged.

Chinaly Chanvong and Ajianni Blackman scored a goal apiece as your girls varsity soccer team earned a hard fought 2 – 1 win over Central last night.  Kayla Brown and Bailey Barlow were solid in the goal, while Kiana Ramos added an assist.  The girls wrap up their season this afternoon when they travel to Easthampton with the boys varsity soccer team for a 3:00 PM double header.
The girls varsity volleyball team will learn their post season matchup later this morning.  Things should get started for the girls on Thursday when they open their play in the MIAA tournament.  Good luck to the girls!

Daily Announcement

Congratulations to your boys’ varsity soccer team as they earned at least a share of the league championship with their 1 – 0 win over Sci-Tech yesterday.  Gabriel Perez scored off an assist from Jovan Wallace for the game’s only score.  Dariel Santana was solid in the nets with 12 saves for the guys.  They will close out their regular season on Tuesday at Easthampton, while they wait to learn their opening round opponent in the MIAA tournament. Good luck, guys!
The girls varsity soccer team lost a closely contested 2 – 1 game against Palmer here on their senior day.  Seniors Kayla Brown, Chinaly Chanvong and Autumn Ryan were honored before the game.
Today we have the girls jv and varsity volleyball teams traveling to Chicopee and closing out their regular season with games beginning at 4:00 PM.  The girls will learn on Tuesday where and against whom they will play their opening round MIAA tournament game.
Good luck to the cross country teams as thy get ready to compete in the PVIAC championship meet on Sunday.

Jeremy Townsend had a goal and three assists to lead the boys varsity soccer team to a 6 – 0 win over Smith Academy yesterday here at school.  Jovan Wallace added two goals and Dariel Santana and James Monts combined for the shutout in the goal as the guys picked up their ninth win of the tear.
Today the guys get over to Berte Field for a league game against Sci-Tech.  Also, we have the girls jv and varsity soccer teams here beginning at 4:00 PM.  Let’s get out there and fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

It comes down to the final week of the season for your girls varsity volleyball team as your girls need to win one of their two matches this week.  They lost a very competitive match on Friday to West Springfield and today get right back into action when they travel to South Hadley.
Your jv girls also close out their season this week after their 2 – 1 win over South Hadley on Friday.  Amaya Harris, Kiarah Clue, Narah Johnson, Tabitha Picot and Jill Lavender were solid in the win.
Your girls varsity soccer team dropped two competitive games this weekend falling to Holyoke on Friday and Granby on Saturday.  Ajianni Blackman scored to give the girls a 1 – 1 tie at intermission on Saturday, but two Granby second  half goals led to our 3 – 1 loss for the day.
Today in addition to the jv and varsity volleyball games at South Hadley we have the freshmen volleyball team traveling to Minnechaug closing out their season with a game at 4:00 PM.
Tomorrow the boys get a busy week started as they entertain Mahar Regional with games beginning at 4:00 PM and the cross country teams close out their regular season at South Hadley.  Good luck to all our teams.
Registration is in full swing for our winter interscholastic athletic program.  Any student in grades 7 – 12 wanting to attend a try out session for basketball, track and field, wrestling or cheerleading should register to try out on the family ID website now.

Your golf team dropped their final match of the season, but Bryan Trinh scored a career best in his final varsity match.
The freshmen volleyball team dropped a 2 – 1 match at Tantasqua yesterday.  Sarayah Colby, Lanaya Greene and Breajah Grimes led the girls.
Today we have the girls soccer teams hosting Holyoke, while the girls volleyball teams try and earn that MIAA tournament invitation as they entertain West Springfield.  Volleyball begins at 4:00 PM ,while soccer gets it going at 4:30 PM.

The boys varsity soccer team dropped a 4 – 0 game against Central here yesterday.  The guys were knotted in a 0 – 0 tie at the half, but a few defensive miscues led to the loss.
Jared Denson, Jahmal Campbell and Kevin West finished 1-2-3- for your boys cross country team, but  both the boys and girls teams dropped their meets against Longmeadow and West Springfield yesterday.  For the girls Adriana Carmona, Nadia Nowicki and Alina Cantella took home the top three spots for the team.
Today we have the golf team going to McCann Tech, the girls jv and varsity soccer teams here against South Hadley and the girls freshmen volleyball team traveling to Granby High.

Gabriel Perez and Brandon Rusinque scored two goals apiece as your boys varsity soccer team earned a one-sided win over Greenfield yesterday.  The win gives the guys an invitation to the MIAA post season tournament and keeps them in the hunt for a league championship.  Josh Dunkellly, Jonathan Rusinque and Tre Hodge also scored in the win.
Congratulations also to the girls varsity volleyball team as they got back to their winning ways with a 3 – 1 win over Belchertown.  Cassie Fairman, Kate Phommasith and Sauna Charles led a very balanced, team attack to secure the win.  The girls need two more wins in their final four matches to qualify for the MIAA tournament themselves.
The jv girls took home a a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary match.  Liz Villa, Tisani Bristol and Lena Lewis were solid throughout.
Ajianni Blackman netted two goals, but your girls varsity soccer team dropped a 3 – 2 game to Renaissance yesterday.
The golf match and the cross country meets were each postponed due to the weather.
Today we have the boys varsity soccer team hosting Sci-Tech with a game beginning at 4:00 PM.  Today is also picture day for all fall athletic teams.

Jovan Wallace scored the game winner late in the second half as your boys varsity soccer team beat Lenox  High School by a score of 2- 1.  Wallace had both goals and Dariel Santana led a superior defensive effort from the goal as the guys improved their season record to 6 wins and just 2 losses.
Kendall Wallace had three goals and Jeremy Ndungo added one as the jv boys soccer team scored a 4 – 1 win over Lenox,  Riley Miles assisted on two goals.
Your girls varsity volleyball team dropped an exciting match to South Hadley in straight sets.
Lena Lewis, Crystal Santana and Zhane Holmes were solid throughout as the jv volleyball team swept South Hadley for the win in the preliminary match.
Today, if the weather cooperates, we have the girls jv and varsity soccer teams traveling to Granby for games beginning at 4:00 PM.
The information meeting for wrestling will be held tomorrow in the guidance office during both Student Life periods.

Your varsity golf team dropped an exciting match to Westfield Academy yesterday.  Colin Consedine recorded the low score for Bulldog golfers, while Consedine and Bryan Trinh won their individual matches.  Mike Scoville, and Zariah Green took points in their individual matches.
Your girls varsity soccer team inched closer to a tournament invitation as they defeated Amherst by a score of 5 – 2.  Ajianni Blackman had two goals in the win, while Jillian Megit, Tatiana Skarzynski and Zoe Stevens scored one goal apiece.
The jv girls dropped the preliminary game by a 2- 0 score.
The boys cross country team lost their meet to Belchertown yesterday.  Kevin West, Jared Denson and James Marsh finished one-two-three for Bulldog runners, On the girls side  freshman Nadia Nowicki impressed all observers by cracking the top ten with a 5th place finish overall…she was followed by teammates, Stephanie Bergman and Alina Cantella, who also turned in good performances.
Today the boys soccer teams travel to Lenox for 4:00 PM games, while the jv and varsity volleyball teams entertain South Hadley here beginning at 5:00 PM.
Today we will also have the information meetings for both boys and girls track.  The meeting will take place during both Student Life periods and will be held in the guidance office.  The wrestling meeting will be held on Friday. James Monts and Davian Alban combined for the shutout in goal as your boys varsity soccer team earned a 5 – 0 win over Hampden Charter School of Science yesterday morning here at school.  Elijah Nixon had two goals to lead the balanced offensive effort.
The girls varsity soccer team dropped a 4 – 0 contest at Palmer last night.
Your girls jv soccer team dropped a 4 – 2 game at Palmer in the preliminary contest.  Pajae Chinn-Yee and Jaslyn Pham scored for your girls, while Danae Homes and Ellie Guyette were solid in the back all night.
Today we have the golf team entertaining Westfield Academy at Veterans, while the girls soccer teams entertain Amherst here at 4:00 PM.  Both the girls and boys cross country teams travel to Belchertown for an  independent meet.
Today we also have the wrestling and cheerleading informational meetings for winter sports.  The meetings will take place during both Student Life activity periods.  Cheerleading will be held in the computer lab, while the wrestling meeting will be held in the guidance office.  Tomorrow the track and field meeting will be held.  If you have any questions, please speak with any winter coach or with Mr. Campagna

Sydney Barklow and Kate Phommasith were solid all around as your girls varsity volleyball team earned an exciting 3- 2 win over Turners Falls.  Angelica Colon, was solid in the back and Kyra Scott and Tyleiisia Cooper owned the net as the girls got back to their winning ways and improved their record to 7 wins and 6 losses. The jv girls won 2 – 1 in the preliminary match.  Tisani Bristol and Tabitha Picot led the jv charge.
Your girls varsity soccer team dropped a 1 – 0 contest at Southwick yesterday.  The jv girls earned their second win of the season in the preliminary game.
There are no games scheduled today.

Your varsity golf team took home  a rain shortened win over Central yesterday.  All golfers scored points in the win.  Michel Green, Michael Scoville and Colin Consedine earned seeps in their individual matches.
Alina Cantella and Adriana Carmona finished first and second for your girls cross country team, but the girls dropped their meet to Central.  The boys dropped their tri-school meet as well, but Antonio Rivera, Luke Goodchild and Frankie Cardona were solid on the day.
Your girls varsity volleyball team dropped a 3 – 1 match at Ware yesterday, while the jv team lost 2 – 1 in the preliminary.  Liz Villa, Daisy Matos, Amaya Harris and Tabitha Picot played well in the loss.  Finally the freshmen girls dropped a 2 – 1 match to Minnechaug.  Savannah Markham, Brieajah Grimes and Lanaya Davis were solid in the loss.
The boys varsity soccer game against Sci-Tech was postponed due to the rain.
Today the girls varsity soccer team is scheduled to host McCann Tech if the weather cooperates and the golf team entertains Pathfinder.  Good luck to both teams.

Bailey Barlow and Kayla Brown combined for 11 saves, but it wasn’t enough as your girls varsity soccer team dropped a 1 – 0 game to Monson yesterday.  Samantha Odom, Carissa Le and Zoe Stevens played well in the loss.  Your jv girls drooped their game against Monson.
The golf team lost a close match to Westfield Academy yesterday Zariah Green recorded a career best round and Michael Scoville took home a win in his individual match.
Today we have the girls freshmen volleyball team at home against Minnechaug at 4:00 PM.  Your cross country teams are over at Forest Park, the golf team travels to Central, the varsity boys soccer team is under the lights against Sci-Tech and the jv and varsity volleyball teams are at Ware.  Good luck to all our teams.

Your boys varsity soccer team scored a 2 – 1 win over Mount Everett Saturday at our annual Homecoming games.  Jovan Wallace and Brandon Rusinque scored for the guys, while Dariel Santana was solid in goal with 14 saves.  The jv guys also took home a win.  Kendall Wallace had three goals and two assists and Jeremy Ndungo recorded three goals in the win as the guys had a 7 – 0 victory.
Your girls varsity soccer team was knotted in a 0 – 0 tie against Hampshire Regional at the half thanks in large part to some excellent goal keeping by Kayla Brown.  But a couple of lapses in the second half and an inability to find the back of the net contributed to their 3 – 0 loss.  The jv girls lost by a 3 – 0 score as well.  They surrendered three first half goals and then shutout Hampshire in the second half.
Your girls varsity volleyball team took the first game against Chicopee Comp, but then dropped the next three to record a 3 – 1 loss.  Tyleisia Cooper, Cassie Fairman and Sydney Barklow played well in the loss.  Your jv girls dropped a 2 – 1 contest.  Liz Villa, Tabitha Picot, Sauna Charles and Amaya Harris paced the girls efforts.  The freshmen dropped a straight set match in the opening games.  Lanaya Davis and Kayleena Colon paced the girls.
The cross country girls took home a team win in their dual meet against HCSS.  Adriana Carmona, Nadia Nowicki and Grace Blase took second, third and fifth places overall to record the team win.
Jared Denson took home first place overall as your boys cross country team defeated HCSS in their dual meet.  Jamal Campbell and Kevin West had top five finishes to support the team victory.
Finally the golf team dropped their match on Friday to Franklin Tech.  Colin Consedine recorded his career low round and Zariah Green took home three points on the afternoon.
Today we have your girls soccer teams here against Monson with games beginning at 4:00 PM.

Kyra Scott, Tyleisia Cooper and Angie Gonzalez were solid all afternoon, but your girls varsity volleyball team dropped a 3 – 1 match to Holyoke High yesterday.  The girls took the first game, but couldn’t hold on as they dropped their second match this week.  Your jv girls also fell to Holyoke in the preliminary match.  Liz Villa, Sauna Charles and Amaya Harris played well to lead our girls.  The freshmen girls team lost in straight sets on the road to Holyoke as well.  Kayleena Colon played well in the loss
Today we have your boys jv soccer team hosting Putnam here at 4:00 PM and th girls varsity and jv soccer teams getting up to Easthampton for games beginning at 4:00 PM.
Informational meetings to winter sports will begin next week.  The family ID website will open on Monday for all registrations for boys and girls basketball, cheerleading, indoor track and field and wrestling.  We will announce the days and room locations soon.  Winter season athletic teams are open to all students in grades 7 – 12.

Your girls freshmen volleyball team dropped a close, exciting match to Tantasqua Regional High School yesterday by a score of 2 – 1.  Lanaya Greene and Ciera Rivera led the way, but it was a total team effort.  All outdoor games were postponed due to the weather.  Today we have the girls jv and varsity volleyball teams here beginning at 4:30 PM, while the freshmen volleyball team travels to Holyoke.  Tomorrow the boys jv soccer team entertains Putnam, while the girls soccer teams travel to Easthampton High.  Good luck to all our teams!
Don’t forget Homecoming this Saturday.  The action gets going at 9:00 AM and will continue with athletic events, food, booths and fun for all until 2:30 PM.  Come early and stay late.  There is no admission for the day!
Want to play a winter sport?  The online registration will open on the family ID website on Monday for boys and girls basketball, wrestling, cheerleading and new this year – indoor track and field.  Information meetings for each sport will begin next week.  We will provide the dates and times as it gets closer.

Your boys varsity soccer team earned a hard fought win over Mahar yesterday.  Jovan Wallace, Tre Hodge, Elijah Nixon and Anthony Britt scored to give the guys the 4 -3 road win.  The jv guys dropped a 4 – 3 game.  Riley Miles, Jeremy Ndungo and Kendall Wallace found the back of the net for your guys.  The girls varsity volleyball team lost  a close match over at Ludlow.  Tyleisia Cooper played well at the net for the girls.  The jv girls fell by a 2 – 1 score in the preliminary match.  Sauna Charles, Lena Lewis and Liz Villa were solid.  Your girls freshmen volleyball team earned a hard fought and exciting win over Ludlow.  Avyana Escobar and Kayleena Little were solid with the serve all afternoon, while Kaylee Little and Ciera Rivera led the way with digs. Nadia Nowicki, Stephanie Bergman, Alina Cantella and Grace Blase finished numbers two through five overall to spark the girls cross country team to a win over Sci-Tech.  Jared Denson finished first overall, but your boys cross country team dropped a close contest with Sci-Tech. Kevin West was second for the guys and fifth overall in the loss.
This Saturday is our Homecoming Day and in addition to booths and games, we have a full slate of athletic events.  It’s non-stop volleyball as the freshmen jv and varsity go back-to-back beginning at 9:00 AM.  The girls soccer teams kick off the outdoor portion of the games at 10:00 AM ,while both cross country teams get things off at approximately 11:45 AM.  Finally we finish the day with  1:00 PM jv and varsity boys soccer games.  Be sure to arrive early and stay late.  Saturday… is Homecoming Day!

Your girls varsity volleyball team lost a 3 – 0 match at Mahar on Friday.  The jv took home a win with a 3 – 0 score in the preliminary match.  Elizabeth Villa, Daisy Matos and Amaya Harris played well for the girls.  Your girls varsity soccer team dropped a 3 – 2 game to Central on Friday despite holding a 2 – 1 lead at the half.  Ajianni Blackman and Gianna Skakowski scored for the girls.  Today we have both the boys and girls cross country teams at home at Forest Park.  The girls freshmen volleyball team hosts Ludlow in a 4:00 PM match, while the jv and varsity girls volleyball teams travel to Ludlow for play that also begins at 4 PM.    Finally it’s your boys jv and varsity soccer teams getting up to Mahar Regional for games kicking off at 4.  Good luck to all our teams.

Your girls varsity volleyball team improved their record to 6 wins and just 1 loss with a 3 – 0 win over Greenfield last night.  Aurora Garcia, Sydney Barklow and Tyleisia Cooper were solid in the win.  The jv girls took home  a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary.  Amaya Harris, Narah Johnson and Sauna Charles played well in the win.  Your boys varsity soccer team lost a tough 2 – 1 game at South Hadley.  Jovan Wallace had the lone score for the guys. The jv guys lost in a shoot out by an 8 – 5 score.  Kendall Wallace had a three goal afternoon and Riley Miles added two in the loss.  The golf team recorded their first win of the year with a sweep over Central yesterday.  Bryan Trinh was solid on the afternoon.  We have no information on the cross country results.
Today we have the golf team at home against McCann Tech and tomorrow we have the girls volleyball teams traveling to Mahar for a big match up and the girls soccer teams here taking on Central in a 4:00 PM game.  Let’s get out there and fill that stands with Bulldog fans!

Your girls varsity volleyball team improved their season record to 5 wins and just 1 loss after their 3 – 0 win over Duggan Academy yesterday. Sydney Barklow, Cassie Fairman and Tyleishia Cooper led the way for your girls.
 
Today we have the jv and varsity volleyball teams traveling to Greenfield, the boys jv and varsity soccer teams traveling to South Hadley, both cross country teams over at Chicopee State Park and the golf team at home at Veterans golf course.
 
Tomorrow is a light day as we have just the golf team in action and on Friday your girls jv and varsity soccer teams are in action here beginning at 4:00 PM.

t was a big day for Bulldog sports yesterday as your girls varsity volleyball team scored a 3 – 0 win over Athol.  Tyleishia Cooper, Cassie Fairman and Aurora Garcia were solid throughout as the girls continued their winning ways.  The jv girls also recorded the road win in the preliminary game.  Sauna Charles, Daisy Matos and Amaya Harris played well to lead the girls. Your boys varsity soccer team recorded a one-sided win over Greenfield.  Jovan Wallace had 3 goals and an assist to lead the offensive charge.  Anthony Lazzari had 2 goals and an assist in the win.  Davian Alban and James Monts combined for the shutout in the goal.  Your girls varsity soccer team kept their winning ways going with a one-sided win over Renaissance.  Ajianni Blackman had four goals in the win.  Samantha Odom, Gianna Skakowski and Sara Pierce each scored their first varsity goal.  Finally the golf team lost a heartbreaker to Mahar.  Michael Green, Michael Scoville, Colin Consedine, Zariah Green and Alexandria Barnard-Davignon recorded individual points on the afternoon.  
Today the girls varsity volleyball team hosts Duggan Academy here at 4:00 PM.  Outside games and events will be held if the weather cooperates.
Don’t forget – boys in grades 7 – 12 – we are looking for tennis players.  If you’ve played a lot… or even just a little  – we are interested in having you joining our tennis team.  Stop by and see Mr. Hamilton as soon as possible.

Daily Announcement from 9/17

Your girls varsity soccer team earned a 2 – 0 win over Mount Everett on Friday. Kayla Brown and Bailey Barlow combined for the shutout in the nets. Kianna Ramos and Jill Megit had a goal apiece to pace the offense. Your girls jv team dropped a 4 – 0 game on Friday as well.
 
The girls’ freshman volleyball team dropped a 2 – 1 match to Granby on Friday in their season opener. Jaylene Lopez, Lanaya Greene and Kayleena Colon played well in the loss.
 
Today we have the boys varsity soccer team here against Greenfield in a 4 pm contest, the girls varsity soccer team over at Marshall Roy against Renaissance School, the jv and varsity volleyball teams getting up to Athol ad the golf team traveling to Mahar. Good luck to all our teams.

Daily Announcement from 9/13

JV Volleyball lost to Pioneer Valley Regional High School despite 11 aces by Elizabeth Villa and 4 aces and 4 kills by Sauna Charles. Sydney Barklow, Tyleishia Cooper and Kyra Scott were outstanding as your girls varsity volleyball team earned a 3 – 1 win at Pioneer Valley Regional High School. The girls dropped the first game and then swept in the next three to earn the league win. The boys varsity soccer game was postponed due to the weather. Today we have both Cross Country teams over at Forest Park, the golf team getting back into action with a match at Veterans, the boys soccer teams traveling up to Pioneer Regional and the girls volleyball teams hosting Easthampton.
 
We will close out the week tomorrow with the girls freshman volleyball team opening their season here with a 4:00 PM game against Granby High and the girls jv and varsity soccer teams traveling out to the Berkshires for a game at Mt. Everett. Good luck to all our teams!

Daily Announcement from 9/12

Your golf team opened their season yesterday as they dropped a league match at Pathfinder.  Michael Green was solid as he took home the top honors on the afternoon with an individual win.  Both the jv and varsity girls soccer teams lost one-sided games at South Hadley yesterday.  Danae Holmes ad Ellie Gaudet were solid defensively in the jv game.
Today the boys varsity soccer team hopes to open their season with a home game against Sci-Tech and your jv and varsity volleyball teams travel to Pioneer Valley Regional for games beginning at 4:00 PM.  Tomorrow the Cross Country teams get things going over at Forest Park, the golf team gets back into action with a match at Veterans, the boys soccer teams travels up to Pioneer Regional and the girls volleyball teams will host Easthampton.

Daily Announcement – 9/6/18

Congratulations to your girls varsity soccer team on their 3 – 1 win over Smith Vocational yesterday.  Gianna Skakowski, Ajianni Blackman and Sydney Borders scored for the girls, while Cabielyn Gagnon stopped seven shots in the nets.  Today your girls jv and varsity volleyball teams open their season with the jv game beginning at 4:00 PM.
The golf match scheduled for today has been postponed.
The boys jv and varsity soccer teas will practice immediately after school at 10:30 and will continue until noon.  the girls soccer teams have cancelled their practices.
We will announce other team plans as they become available.
Remember – pizza will be sold tomorrow during all lunch periods for grades 6 through 12.  The cost is just $1.50 per slice.
