Your boys’ basketball teams swept South Hadley last night with one-sided wins at both the jv and varsity levels.  The jv guys closed out the first half on a huge run and they never looked back cruising to the win.  Noah Valentine, Dom Spradley and Alex Williams led the play for a convincing team win.  In the varsity game it was Aaron Williams who had 18 points and Souleymane Diaby added 15 as the guys improved their season record to 2 wins and no losses.
Tonight the girls jv and varsity basketball teams travel to Lee and the boys freshman basketball team gets over to Commerce for a 4:00 pm tip.  Also the wrestlers try and keep their winning streak alive as they host Mahar Regional in a 7 pm match here in the main gym..  Jalen Rogers goes for career win number 100 tonight.
Tomorrow your girls freshman basketball team opens their season with a 4 pm game in the main gym.

Your girls varsity basketball team opened their season with a road win last night as the girls defeated Turners Falls by a score of 62 – 28.  Sydney Barklow had 17 points to lead the girls, while Safaire Bryant and Alicia Mitchell added 14 points apiece.  Your jv girls also recorded a one-sided win over Turners with Alexa Davis leading the offensive output with 15 points.  Savanna Baldwin added 8 points and Maddie Wyszynski and Sauna Charles had 6 points apiece.
Tonight the boys jv and varsity basketball teams open their home seasons with games against South Hadley High School.  The jv game tips at 5:30 pm.  The Student Life Organization is planning a party type atmosphere with a DJ in the house and a whiteout planned.  White, long sleeved Bulldog athletic tee shirts will be for sale for just $15.00.
On Wednesday it’s your wrestling team fresh off a three match sweep opening their home season with a 7:00 PM match against Mahar Regional.  Jalen Rogers goes for career win number 100.  Let’s fill the stands with Bulldog fans and cheer Rogers and the guys to a Wednesday night win!

Congratulations to your boys’ varsity basketball team on their 70 – 56 win over Northampton on the road on Friday.  Souleymane Diaby had 22 points and Aaron Williams added 20 to lead the guys to their opening day victory.  The jv boys earned a one-sided win in the preliminary with Alex Williams, Sydney Borges and Rob Scoville each going for double figures offensively.  The freshman boys basketball team dropped their afternoon game despite a solid effort from Matt Consedine who had 17 points in the loss..
Your wrestling team swept their Saturday matches with three straight team wins.  Davian Alban, Evan Tran and Ryan O’Connor earned their first career varsity wins, while Xavier Reyes, Christian Rivas and Quintin Pellegrino went undefeated for the day.
Both the boys and girls indoor track teams opened their inaugural seasons up at Smith College on Friday.  Gabriela Harris finished second in the 55 meter dash and Vannessa Williams had a second place finish in the shot put.  For the guys Siare Barklow, Elijah Nixon and Kofi Abyei Yeboah each recorded second place finishes on the afternoon.
Today the girls varsity and jv basketball teams open their season on the road at Turners Falls and tomorrow the boys open their home season with games tipping at 5:30 PM against South Hadley.  The Student Life Organization is planning a party type atmosphere for Tuesday’s game.  A DJ will lead the music and the cheerleaders will be at both games.  Wear white to show support.  Tickets are $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults  Sabis staff are admitted free to all regular season home games.  Long sleeved white Bulldog athletic tee shirts will be available for sale for just $15.00 at the game!
Practice today for the girls track team has been cancelled.

Today starts fall season MIAA Tournament play when our girls varsity volleyball team gets up to Easthampton for a 6:30 PM opening round match.  Your girls earned the number nine seed and they play the eight seed tonight.  We are hoping for a large crowd at Easthampton High to cheer our girls to a tournament win.  Admission will be charged at the door.  Let’s fill the stands with Bulldog fans!
This afternoon, if the weather allows, your boys and girls cross country teams will have their All-City championship meet over at Forest Park.  Both teams are excited about the meet and are hoping we can get some fans over to Forest Park around 3:30 PM today.
Finally it’s our boys varsity soccer team taking on the 5th seed – Hampshire Regional tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 PM.  the game will be played on the turf at Holyoke High School.  Admission will also be charged and we are also hoping for a large crowd to support our boys/

Congratulations to your boys varsity soccer team as they drew the 12 seed and will travel to Hampshire Regional for the opening round of the MIAA tournament game.  We are waiting for confirmation on the date and the time.  It is looking like either Friday or Saturday.  We will let you know the details just as soon as we know.
Your girls varsity volleyball team opens their run for the tournament championship tomorrow night at Easthampton.  The match will begin at 6:30 PM and admission will be charged.
The boys and girls cross country team will participate in the City Championship meet tomorrow at Forest Park.

Dariel Santana had seven saves in the nets, but your boys varsity soccer team dropped a 1 – 0  contest at Easthampton yesterday.  The guys should learn their MIAA tournament seeding later today.  Good luck, guys!
Your girls varsity soccer team completed their season yesterday with a 1 -1 draw at Easthampton.  Giana Skakowski scored the girls only goal and Bailey Barlow and Kayla Brown combined for 13 saves in the nets.  The girls ended their season on an up note with a win and a draw in their final two games.
Your girls varsity volleyball team will play their opening round tournament match on Friday at Easthampton.  Things get going at 6:30PM.  Admission will be charged.

Coach Needed

Assistant coach wanted by varsity wrestling team.  Season runs from end of November through early March. CPR and first aid certification required as is completion of the Concussion awareness online course.  Teaching or coaching experience desired. Some sport specific expertise is required. Chinaly Chanvong and Ajianni Blackman scored a goal apiece as your girls varsity soccer team earned a hard fought 2 – 1 win over Central last night.  Kayla Brown and Bailey Barlow were solid in the goal, while Kiana Ramos added an assist.  The girls wrap up their season this afternoon when they travel to Easthampton with the boys varsity soccer team for a 3:00 PM double header.
The girls varsity volleyball team will learn their post season matchup later this morning.  Things should get started for the girls on Thursday when they open their play in the MIAA tournament.  Good luck to the girls!

Congratulations to your boys’ varsity soccer team as they earned at least a share of the league championship with their 1 – 0 win over Sci-Tech yesterday.  Gabriel Perez scored off an assist from Jovan Wallace for the game’s only score.  Dariel Santana was solid in the nets with 12 saves for the guys.  They will close out their regular season on Tuesday at Easthampton, while they wait to learn their opening round opponent in the MIAA tournament. The girls varsity soccer team lost a closely contested 2 – 1 game against Palmer here on their senior day.  Seniors Kayla Brown, Chinaly Chanvong and Autumn Ryan were honored before the game.
Today we have the girls jv and varsity volleyball teams traveling to Chicopee and closing out their regular season with games beginning at 4:00 PM.  The girls will learn on Tuesday where and against whom they will play their opening round MIAA tournament game.
Good luck to the cross country teams as thy get ready to compete in the PVIAC championship meet on Sunday.

Jeremy Townsend had a goal and three assists to lead the boys varsity soccer team to a 6 – 0 win over Smith Academy yesterday here at school.  Jovan Wallace added two goals and Dariel Santana and James Monts combined for the shutout in the goal as the guys picked up their ninth win of the tear.
Today the guys get over to Berte Field for a league game against Sci-Tech.  Also, we have the girls jv and varsity soccer teams here beginning at 4:00 PM.  Let’s get out there and fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Elijah Nixon had a goal and an assist as your boys varsity soccer team salvaged a 3 – 3 tie against Mahar Regional High School yesterday.  Alex Williams and Jovan Wallace also scored for your guys and James Monts had 12 saves in the nets.
Kendall Wallace had a goal as your jv boys soccer team had a 1 – 1 tie with Mahar yesterday as well.  Austin Le was solid in the nets.
Both the boys and girls cross country teams fell to South Hadley yesterday.  Jahmal Campbell, Kevin West and Antonio Rivera finished 1-2-3- for our guys, while Nadia Nowicki, Adriana Carmona, Stephanie Bergman and Alina Cantella filled the top four spots for the girls.
Today we have the boys varsity soccer team hosting Smith Academy in a 4:00 PM contest.
Remember to register for any winter season sport on the family ID website.  You must complete your registration in order to attend a tryout session for any sport.
Attention seniors planning to go on the trip to Westfield State.  Please return your permission slips today or tomorrow to the guidance office.  If we do not have your slip by tomorrow morning we will assume you are not making the trip and we will not be able to hold your spot on the bus.

Congratulations to your girls varsity volleyball team on their exciting 3 – 1 win over South Hadley on the road last night.  With the win, the girls earn an invitation to the MIAA Regional tournament.  Cassie Fairman, Kyra Scott and Aurora Garcia led the way as your girls get back to post season tournament play.  The tournament should begin next Thursday, November  1st.  The location and opponent will be announced next Tuesday.  Good luck, girls!
Yesterday the jv volleyball team lost the opening match by a 2 -1 score.  Amaya Harris, Liz Villa and Tabitha Picot paced the girls.
The freshman volleyball team closed out their season with a loss at Minnechaug.  Avyana Escobar and Kayleena Colon played well in the loss.
Today we have the boys jv and varsity soccer teams entertaining Mahar Regional  here at 4:00 PM and both cross country teams up at South Hadley.
Remember – now is the time to register for any winter season sport.  You must register online in order to attend a tryout session.

It comes down to the final week of the season for your girls varsity volleyball team as your girls need to win one of their two matches this week.  They lost a very competitive match on Friday to West Springfield and today get right back into action when they travel to South Hadley.
Your jv girls also close out their season this week after their 2 – 1 win over South Hadley on Friday.  Amaya Harris, Kiarah Clue, Narah Johnson, Tabitha Picot and Jill Lavender were solid in the win.
Your girls varsity soccer team dropped two competitive games this weekend falling to Holyoke on Friday and Granby on Saturday.  Ajianni Blackman scored to give the girls a 1 – 1 tie at intermission on Saturday, but two Granby second  half goals led to our 3 – 1 loss for the day.
Today in addition to the jv and varsity volleyball games at South Hadley we have the freshmen volleyball team traveling to Minnechaug closing out their season with a game at 4:00 PM.
Tomorrow the boys get a busy week started as they entertain Mahar Regional with games beginning at 4:00 PM and the cross country teams close out their regular season at South Hadley.  Good luck to all our teams.
Registration is in full swing for our winter interscholastic athletic program.  Any student in grades 7 – 12 wanting to attend a try out session for basketball, track and field, wrestling or cheerleading should register to try out on the family ID website now.

Your golf team dropped their final match of the season, but Bryan Trinh scored a career best in his final varsity match.
The freshmen volleyball team dropped a 2 – 1 match at Tantasqua yesterday.  Sarayah Colby, Lanaya Greene and Breajah Grimes led the girls.
Today we have the girls soccer teams hosting Holyoke, while the girls volleyball teams try and earn that MIAA tournament invitation as they entertain West Springfield.  Volleyball begins at 4:00 PM ,while soccer gets it going at 4:30 PM.

Congratulations to your girls varsity volleyball team on their 3 – 2 win over Easthampton yesterday.  The girls need just one win in their final three regular season matches to earn a bid to the MIAA tournament.  The jv girls lost the preliminary match in straight sets.  Daisy Matos, Narah Johnson and Tabitha Picot were solid on the afternoon.
The boys varsity soccer team dropped a 4 – 0 game against Central here yesterday.  The guys were knotted in a 0 – 0 tie at the half, but a few defensive miscues led to the loss.
Jared Denson, Jahmal Campbell and Kevin West finished 1-2-3- for your boys cross country team, but  both the boys and girls teams dropped their meets against Longmeadow and West Springfield yesterday.  For the girls Adriana Carmona, Nadia Nowicki and Alina Cantella took home the top three spots for the team.
Today we have the golf team going to McCann Tech, the girls jv and varsity soccer teams here against South Hadley and the girls freshmen volleyball team traveling to Granby High.

Jovan Wallace netted a second half goal to knot the score at one apiece.  But a late PK goal lifted Sci-Tech to a 2 – 1 win over our boys varsity soccer team here on campus yesterday.
Today we have the boys and girls cross country teams traveling to West Springfield, the golf team getting out to McCann Tech, both the jv and varsity volleyball teams getting up to Easthampton and your boys jv and varsity soccer teams here against Central High School at 4 pm.  Let’s get out and fill the stands with Bulldog fans.

Gabriel Perez and Brandon Rusinque scored two goals apiece as your boys varsity soccer team earned a one-sided win over Greenfield yesterday.  The win gives the guys an invitation to the MIAA post season tournament and keeps them in the hunt for a league championship.  Josh Dunkellly, Jonathan Rusinque and Tre Hodge also scored in the win.
Congratulations also to the girls varsity volleyball team as they got back to their winning ways with a 3 – 1 win over Belchertown.  Cassie Fairman, Kate Phommasith and Sauna Charles led a very balanced, team attack to secure the win.  The girls need two more wins in their final four matches to qualify for the MIAA tournament themselves.
The jv girls took home a a 2 – 1 win in the preliminary match.  Liz Villa, Tisani Bristol and Lena Lewis were solid throughout.
Ajianni Blackman netted two goals, but your girls varsity soccer team dropped a 3 – 2 game to Renaissance yesterday.
The golf match and the cross country meets were each postponed due to the weather.
Today we have the boys varsity soccer team hosting Sci-Tech with a game beginning at 4:00 PM.  Today is also picture day for all fall athletic teams.
