Remani Lizana had 10 points and 11 rebounds and An’janae Washington added 11 points, but your girls varsity basketball team dropped a heartbreaker to Chicopee on Friday by a score of   33 – 32.  Xavier Hines-Coombs earned the 100th and 101st wins of his varsity wrestling career on Saturday at Frontier.  Congratulations to Xavier!  Tuesday your girls jv and varsity basketball teams travel to Chicopee Comp for games beginning at 5:30 PM.  The girls freshmen team will entertain Comp in the main gym with tip at 4:00 PM.  Wednesday is senior night for the wrestlers as they entertain Hampshire Regional.  Christian Garcia-Nieves needs just one win to earn his 100th win of his career.  And your boys’ varsity basketball team will travel to Comp for yesterday’s make-up game while they try to keep their hold on first place in the Suburban league standings.  Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans!

Believe it or not – Online registration for all spring sports began Monday on the family ID website.  There will be no in-person registration sessions. The season begins for all sports on Monday, March 21st.  You must have a valid physical exam on file with the nurse and register online in order to be eligible.  Otherwise, all students in grades 7 – 12 are eligible to participate.  Register early.  We will be offering teams for baseball, softball, boys volleyball, boys and girls tennis, and boys and girls track and field.  See Mr. Campagna if you have any questions.

Attention any boy in grades 7 – 12 who is interested in playing baseball this spring.  There will be an informational meeting on Thursday of this week during Student Life period.  Please plan to come to the meeting during your own Student life period and meet the coaches and learn about important information.

Preseason workouts for softball will continue this Saturday in the back gym from 12:30 – 2:30 PM.  Registration is not needed.  Just show up.
