Your girls track team opened their season with a convincing win over Sci-Tech yesterday.  Anjanae Washington took home top honors in the 400 meters and she was on the winning team for the 4 by 400 relay.  Remani Lizana won both the shot put and the discus, while Eliza Mullin was best in the high jump and Tiffany Alban tops in the javelin.  Other top performers in the meet were Sarah Ledoux, Tatianna Skarzynski, Alizaya Clark and Tanialize Almenas.  Your boys tennis team remained undefeated as they won an exciting 3-2 match over Turners Falls.  Ahn Nguyen, Nathan Reed and the first doubles team of Roberto Falvo and Chris Calvanese earned the win for the guys.  The varsity volleyball team lost a very competitive match at Commerce.  Nathan Johnson, Xavier Hines-Coombs and Austin Benoit were solid in the loss.  Your varsity softball team lost to Easthampton on a walk off hit in the 7th inning by a 10 – 9 score.  Kayla Brown had three hits, while Alyssa Padilla and Aemilia Rivera had two apiece in the loss.  The jv softball team dropped their game at Easthampton, despite solid play from Gianna Berardi, Gabriella Miranda and Asher Joseph.  Today we have the softball teams at home against McCann Tech and the girls tennis team entertaining Agawam.   Let’s get ready to fill the stands with Bulldog fans.
