Congratulations to your boys varsity basketball team on their 93 – 58 win over Belchertown last night. Nathan Colon had 28 points, while Justin Rennis and Aaron Williams had 17 and 15 points respectively. The win improves the guys record to 7 – 1 on the year. The jv guys won in the preliminary game. Your boys freshmen team dropped a 54 – 46 game to Baystate Charter School. Gabriel Perez led a balanced attack with 14 points, while Jason Daniels added 9 and Jared Denson and Jarel Greene had 8 points apiece. Your girls varsity basketball team dropped a one-sided game to East Longmeadow. Remani Lizana had 11 points to pace the girls. The jv team also fell to East Longmeadow. Tatianna Skarzynski had 9 points and Tyeishia Cooper had 6 points and 8 rebounds. Your girls freshmen also fell to East Longmeadow in an afternoon game here. Today the wrestling team travels to Gateway Regional for a 7:00 PM league match.
A limited number of tickets remain on sale for the boys’ basketball game at Hoophall tomorrow night. Tickets are $10.00 at the door, but are available here at school for just $6.00. We will sell out. See Mr. Campagna if you want to purchase any tickets. The game promises to be one of the best and most competitive of the year and the ticket is good for all the games played tomorrow.
Open gym for students interested in baseball or softball will be held this Saturday. The boys will go from 9 – 10:45 AM and the girls from 10:15 until noon.
