An’janae Washington established a new Forest Park school record yesterday as she took first place overall to lead the girls cross country team to a league win over Sci-Tech. The win was Washington’s 7th of the season and placed the girls in a first place tie in their league standings. Eliza Mullin, Briana Alvarado, Tianna Scott and Isabella Hookailo finished in the top ten on the afternoon. The boys lost two closely contested contests yesterday as Nick Audette finished 3rd overall and first for your Bulldogs. Your girls varsity soccer team lost to Chicopee last night by a 3-0 score. They will need to win their game at Southwick on Friday to earn an MIAA tournament bid.
Today your volleyball teams close out their regular season as they travel to Easthampton and if the rain holds off both boys soccer teams will conclude their seasons with games here at 4:00 PM against Athol. Let’s be sure to get out there and cheer the Bulldogs on!
